Rich was awesome and super easy to work with. We received multiple pictures of Ruby‘s stay on their property. She looks like she was in her element and had the best time ever. Definitely rebooking again. It is her second home away from home.

Dogs were well taken care of, and updates were great! Appreciate everything that Rich did. I'm always hesitant leaving the babies especially going out of state. I will be going through him again, complete ease of mind.

Really nice people! My dog seemed to have a great experience while boarding with Rich. The last place we boarded him he could not get out fast enough, he stank, and had his ears and tail tucked (tradional kennel not on Rover ) . At Rich's, I dropped him off and could tell he was very relaxed and happy to meet them. On pick up, he was happy! No tail tucking, no bad smell and happily exploring the yard as we left. No rushing to the car. Very pleased! I wished we lived closer, but are hoping to be able to use their service again.

So happy with Rich and his family taking care of Sprig! They sent pics and kept us updated on how he was doing, we had some last minute plans change and they were able to keep Sprig an extra night! So so thankful! You and your pups will love their stay here!

How Dog Boarding Vibes with Our Family Life Our homeschooling family of five kids, ages 6 to 16, weaves dog boarding into our daily life with enthusiasm, as our kids actively participate in caring for your pets. As a bustling homestead, we create a nurturing environment where your dog receives personalized attention alongside our family’s daily activities. To ensure a smooth experience, we emphasize punctuality for all appointments. Please arrive within 15 minutes before or after your scheduled time for meet-and-greets, day sitting drop-offs, or boarding drop-offs, as tardiness may result in us being unavailable or a late fee ($10). Our daily routine includes three supervised off-leash playtimes in our pasture—morning, afternoon, and evening—where dogs are grouped by size and temperament for safe, fun interaction, never left unsupervised. We sanitize stalls daily, removing waste and spraying pee spots, and follow the owner’s feeding schedule, refreshing water during each playtime to keep your dog happy and healthy. Available Times: Meet-and-Greets: Weekdays: 5:00 PM–8:00 PM Saturdays: 10:00 AM–4:00 PM Sundays: 12:00 PM–4:00 PM Day Sitting Drop-Offs: Daily: 7:00 AM–9:00 AM Boarding Drop-Offs: Daily: 6:00 PM–10:00 PM Customers may drop off the night before their booking without being charged for the added time. Pick-Ups: Flexible to the customer’s travel schedule, but once a time is set, customers must keep us informed of any updates to their timeline.

A typical day

A Typical Day with Your Pet A day at our homestead is packed with fun and care for your dog! We start with a morning play session in our spacious pasture, where dogs enjoy supervised off-leash time, grouped by size and temperament for safe, joyful romping. After playtime, each dog retreats to their private, temperature-controlled kennel with indoor and outdoor spaces for a restful break and feeding per the owner’s schedule, with fresh water provided. In the afternoon, we head back to the pasture for another round of supervised off-leash play, letting your dog burn energy and socialize under our watchful eyes. We sanitize stalls daily, removing waste and spraying pee spots to keep their space clean. The day wraps up with an evening play session, ensuring your dog gets plenty of exercise and fun. Throughout the day, we inspect each dog during playtimes and send you daily photos and updates to keep you connected to their adventures.

Important to Know About Your Pet Ahead of Time To ensure your dog has a fantastic stay at our homestead, we need the following essential details in advance: Up-to-Date Pet Profile: Ensure your dog’s Rover profile is accurate and current, including vaccinations, age, breed, and any behavioral traits, so we can prepare their private, temperature-controlled kennel and tailor their care. Past Boarding Experiences: Share what has worked well or poorly in previous boarding situations—knowing what your dog loves (e.g., extra playtime) or dislikes (e.g., certain environments) helps us make their stay comfortable and stress-free. Feeding Schedule: Provide a detailed feeding schedule, including portion sizes, times, and any dietary restrictions, so we can maintain their routine during their stay and ensure their needs are met during three daily supervised play sessions in our pasture.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
