Hi! My name is Rich, I’m 35 years old and I just moved to Madison. I have been taking care of pets in Milwaukee for the past year and loved it, and I am looking forward to continuing here. I grew up with a dog and have lived with both dogs and cats for many years. I currently have my own goofy wonderful dog named Maxwell. I have 25 years of experience taking care of dogs and cats using positive-reinforcement techniques. I have experience working with puppies as well as older dogs and cats. At this time, I am unable to walk large dogs who pull on the leash due to physical restrictions. I have experience walking leash reactive dogs - my own dog is reactive, and I work on his training every day. I also have experience giving oral medication and subcutaneous injections. Richie is very gentle and patient as an animal caretaker. Dogs and cats always seem to get that sense that Richie is someone they can trust because of Richie’s gentle and non-intimidating nature. Richie frequently pet-sits for me when I am away, I know I can always count on them to do a fantastic job plus give my pets so much love and attention.

Schedule
My schedule is very flexible so please feel comfortable contacting me for any last-minute needs. I love getting to know animals with regular visits, as well as meeting many new animals. I can do weekdays and weekends between 7 am and 7 pm.
