From a very early age, Rhyan has been around animals and required to assist with their care. During elementary school, Rhyan had Trigger, a German shepherd, and Easton, a black lab to walk and care for. There was also an indoor fat cat named Charlie that Rhyan helped care for. Next came Lola, an English Mastiff and Quincy, a miniature Schnauzer that Rhyan helped care for as she moved into Junior High School. Two other house cats, Vader and Princess enter the household during these years as well. In her Mom’s home, there were additional dogs. Stella, another mastiff and Memphis, a boxer as well as three more house cats. As she grew older, Rhyan was tasked with increased care of the household pets, especially when parents were away on vacation or simply at work. This involved feeding, grooming and walking. Rhyan’s passion for animals was extended to horses when she started to work at a farm near Leduc, Alberta, where she cared for a number of horses. This involved feeding, cleaning stalls and grooming. She built in this love for horses when she elected to enter an Equine Sciences diploma program at the University of Guelph (remote) in 2022. She is now very close to obtaining that diploma. Rhyan is also considering working towards an Associate Degree as a Vet Tech. Throughout her life, Rhyan has been surrounded by and cared for all sorts of animals from indoor and outdoor house pets to horses. She has a great love for animals and would be a definite asset to the Rover program (which our family has used) and I am confident that she would care for other’s pets as if they were her own.

Sa fait 5 ans maintenant que je connais Rhyan et elle a bien pris soin de mes 3 chats souvent pendant mais semaine de vacances. Je sais aussi qu’elle a été à l’école pour apprendre à sûr les chevaux donc une vrais passionnée! Je recommande beaucoup
