My partner, Ralph and I work for ourselves remotely. This gives us endless possibilities for travelling to give pet care and for taking breaks when dogs need to get outside. We generally walk a lot. On dog walks, we appreciate dogs who lead the way and give us tours of their favorite parts of your neighborhood. For us, petting pets is a welcome diversion from looking at screens and tapping on keyboards. Because there are two of us on our pet sitting team, the time that your pets are home alone is minimized. At night we enjoy staying home to cook, play board games. We prefer to curl up to a film on a couch with a cats or dogs than to go to a theater any night!

Our Home: We’re not currently accepting pets at our home until September. Clients' Homes: We learn the pet's schedule ahead of time providing walks, feedings, relief breaks, medication and a cozy time of cuddles. We send at least one photo from each visit. If we are staying at your home with your pet, we are happy to fetch mail and packages, water plants and provide a very deep cleaning before we leave.

A typical day
Our day starts with pep in our step and morning traditions are a great way to get the day off to a great and loving start. We offer interactive play that is physical and mental. Extended walks and catch help dogs to burn energy and relax. We let young dogs set the pace and we encourage exercise for older dogs with a game of fetch. Puzzles such as hidden snacks, loosely packaged foods, and pretending to throw their balls get pets thinking. Cats enjoy chasing our laser light and dangling feathers. We enjoy photojournaling our special moments with our fuzzy friends. We’ll share them with you but don’t expect responses, just enjoyment. When the day is done, many cats and dogs like to sleep at our feet. If they don’t that’s fine too.

As children, my partner and I had a hamster, a cats and dogs. While raising our children, we had a ball python, cats and a freshwater fish aquarium. When our kids left for college we welcomed housemates who had dogs so we could enjoy them ourselves. Fuzzy pets love us and we're happy to share tips and tricks for winning pets' adoration. We love travel that petsitting and remote work accommodates. Location, location, location: Currently we are in Beaufort, SC and we return home to Oak Park in June 29th available anywhere at that time.

I enjoyed having Rhock and Ralph sit at my place after my mother’s recommendation. More importantly - Papaya, my dog, loved having them sit. Papaya is a charming but particular great pyrenees with a complex personality, and they handled her brilliantly during a 12 day stay. They even befriended neighbors and others in Papaya's life making it a smooth easy stay that felt like home for them. They are clear, communicative and caring and it felt really good during a stressful trip knowing all was well from my dog on the home front.
Rhock and Ralph were wonderful sitters! When I came home after a week away, the cats were so content and relaxed that they didn't even bother to get up from their naps to greet me! Clearly, they got a lot of attention from Rhonda and Ralph, as well as their 2 college age kids who came to stay. The house was left spotless, and Rhonda even changed the filter in the refrigerator when the change light came on. I got at least one picture a day, including one of a rare "sharing of the cat tree perch". I couldn't be happier, and highly recommend them!
We have had the absolute pleasure of having Rhock and Ralph sit for us at our home while we were away, the first time was over Mother’s Day weekend, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment they arrived—an hour early to meet our dogs and learn the routine—we knew our pets and home were in excellent hands. Throughout their stay, they went above and beyond. They sent us thoughtful, detailed updates and sweet photos that gave us complete peace of mind. Our dogs were not only safe and healthy, but genuinely happy. They were brushed regularly, walked more often than we ever expected or requested, and given so much love and attention—it really felt like they were being cared for by family. During their stay, our dog Lennon had an unexpected seizure. He only experiences these very rarely (about twice a year), and no previous sitter had ever encountered one while caring for him. They handled the situation with such calm, compassion, and attentiveness. They comforted him through it, kept us promptly and clearly informed, and made us feel so reassured despite being away. We were incredibly grateful for her level-headed care in such a stressful moment. The house was left in pristine condition, and they even stayed a little longer than originally planned to ensure a smooth handover when we got back. We returned to three happy pups and a spotless home. We are beyond grateful for their kindness, care, and communication, and we would welcome them back anytime. We recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for truly exceptional sitters. Thank you, Rhock and Ralph!
