35 Years of Animal Health & Welfare
I started my life in the animal world as an animal hospital kennel attendant when I was 18yrs old, which led me to becoming an Animal Health Technician in my 20’s. I assisted in surgeries and aftercare, dentals, IV fluid therapy, medication monitoring, Nutrition counselling, and much more for over 16 yrs. I was able to gain more experience when I became a manager at a animal hospital/pet supply store. I also have some experience in positive reinforcement training. I did move into animal welfare career after leaving the clinics. I have fostered many newborn puppies/kittens all the way to seniors and special care animals.

Good communication and pup was happy
Rhonda was knowledgeable about dog behaviour and was able to be flexible to give my dogs the support they needed, how they needed it while we were away. I wasn't worried about my babies at all :) Rhonda obviously loves animals and it was a blessing to have her drop in on my pups this week.
Rhonda went over and above to help our cat when we were away. She is very knowledgeable and truly so caring!
Rhonda was great again/ Went out of her way to make sure my pets were well cared for.
Rhonda is great. Goes above and beyond. Even had our shy cat hanging out with her.
Best cat sitter ever! Would recommend to anyone now that needs a sitter!

Schedule
I have plenty of spare hours and most days to commit to caring for others little family members. I would love to do a meet and greet either in your home or mine if possible so that your pet is comfortable with me.

Safety, trust & environment
I currently have a well versed cat when it comes to dogs, but she also has options if she requires her own space in our home that she can go to if she doesn’t want to be around your beloved pet. We also have a 16lbs small S/F dog who enjoys visiting play dates. The referee in our home is a small parrot who loves to watch the action! We do have a fenced yard. No newcomers in our home will have un-monitored backyard time. We also have 4 chickens that are very social but are in a secure chicken garden for their safety. We can offer crate time if requested. Their and 3 adults in our home that enjoys 4 legged companions and cuddle time!
Pets
A typical day
Typically a day with me looks like backyard time while I garden. Also walks and car rides, if permitted to go to a beach or parks or whatever the day brings us. I feel our fur friends enrich our lives so time spent is always a positive experience. I enjoy fear free training and making it fun for them as well. The challenge and achievements are good for the soul!
