I work a part time job, and also have a home-based business, with lots of flexibility in my schedule. My husband is retired, he is my backup so coverage is not an issue.

In your home, I follow the guidelines you establish. If something unexpected comes up, I get in touch with you or use my discretion (depending on urgency and situation). Since I have raised my own children, owned multiple dogs, have worked in Elder Care, and now work as a Nanny, handling crazy things and responding to true emergencies is part of my skill set. In my own home, we have a relaxed routine, and we have time to spend with our doggie guests. We have created a calming environment to help manage any separate anxiety or stress. (We do not currently have our own pets, sadly)

Please let me know what your dog like and dislikes, and what commands they know. How much activity your dog is accustomed to and any special requirements. Does you dog use a kennel? if so, we will need to bring that along if I provide service at my home. Please describe you pet's personality so I can make them most comfortable while you are away.
A typical day
I love to take dogs to the dog park, when that is convenient, if the dog likes other dogs. I have a yard where we can play and have fun. Playing with balls and toys is always fun, for me and for them! Physical exercise and mental stimulation are important, and I make that a priority. We have a great open space nearby, and the Prairie Nature Park has great trails.

Pet care experience
I have had dogs in my life for more than 25 years. I have adopted and fostered a variety of pets, including a couple with trauma in their past. All of our experiences have been positive and we have forged great bonds. I have been through dog training and have experience with administering medications. We have a roomy home and a nice backyard for play etc. Our household is low key and we are very flexible. I am happy yo come to your home as well, I understand that can be more comfortable for your pets. I have experience working with pets that are not my own, you can be confident that I have seen it all, nothing upsets me!

Rhonda was absolutely amazing! She accepted my dog super last minute, which I was so grateful for, and made the whole process completely stress-free having to leave him for the week. He loved staying with her and was so happy and comfortable the entire time. I truly felt at ease knowing he was safe and well cared for while I was away for the week. I would 100% trust Rhonda again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving, reliable sitter!
Marley had an extended and excellent stay with Rhonda. Rhonda and her family provide a loving and caring second home while we are away. We received daily pictures and updates which are very much appreciated. Absolutely trust Rhonda and will certainly book again in future.
This was the second time to use Rhonda. Our little dog was so excited to see Rhonda and her husband that I don't think he missed us at all. That was a good feeling, so we'll be using her again.
Rhonda was a great sitter for our small frenchie and sent updates through the evening. Very informative and reliable. Couldn’t have had a better sitter for our frenchie!
