Rhonda was wonderful! She took such great care of my dog and made him feel right at home in her lovely, safe, and welcoming home. He had a great weekend with her, and I could tell he was happy and well cared for. Rhonda was also very responsive and kept me updated throughout his stay with lots of pictures, which I really appreciated. It gave me such peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. I have known Rhonda Entsler for over 50 years and know her to be very particular about what ever she does. She has always had animals in her life and loves all of them. She stayed at my house for 2 weeks several years ago while my husband and I were traveling. We at the time had two large dogs and a cat. She took excellent care of the animals and my house. I've known Rhonda for over 6 years. She was even my roommate for about three years, and I can say with complete confidence that she is one of the most responsible, caring, and trustworthy people I know. Together we adopted a stray cat named Gizmo, who used to wander to our apartment daily. Rhonda took him under her wing, feeding him, buying him toys, and taking him to the vet until he eventually just moved in full time! That's just who she is. She has also pet-sat for many friends over the years and is a true animal lover. Schedule
I work part-time primarily from home, so I’m able to spend most of the day with the pets in my care. I may occasionally be away for a few hours for appointments, errands, or evening commitments, but I’m home the majority of the time and can provide plenty of companionship and attention.

Safety, trust & environment
For boarding, I accept pets from only one family at a time so they can have a quieter, more relaxed stay with plenty of individual attention. I have two resident cats, Gizmo and Truffle, so dogs staying in my home need to be comfortable around cats. For in-home pet sitting, I’m happy to help keep things running smoothly while you’re away. I can bring in mail and packages, put trash and recycling bins out and bring them back in, water plants, and take care of other small household tasks as needed. I’ll also send regular photo updates and reach out if I have any questions or concerns.
Pets
A typical day
I like to follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. Dogs can relax with me around the house, enjoy regular walks and potty breaks, and get plenty of playtime, attention, or cuddles depending on what they enjoy. I have a large outdoor deck but no fenced yard, so dogs are walked regularly for exercise and bathroom breaks. Meals and medications are given according to their usual schedule, and since I’m home much of the day, pets have plenty of companionship. If your dog normally uses a crate when left alone, I’m happy to continue that routine if you provide their crate.

- Please let me know your pet’s usual routine, feeding and medication schedule, walking and potty habits, where they sleep, and how long they are comfortable being left alone. I’d also like to know about any medical needs, fears, allergies, behavioral quirks, escape tendencies, or reactions to other animals or people. For dogs boarding in my home, please let me know if your dog has never been around cats before. My two cats are comfortable around dogs and are pretty good at setting their own boundaries and we can discuss your dog’s temperament and behavior to decide whether they’d be a good fit for my home.
