Growing up, my family always had a house full of dogs and cats of every size, breed, and personality — and we often fostered strays, too! From an early age, I learned hands-on skills like training techniques, behavioral understanding, and basic at-home vet care. Over time, I developed a calm, intuitive approach that helps me connect with almost any animal I meet (and I’m always happy to prove it!). In middle and high school, I spent weekends volunteering at my local animal shelter, CNY SNAP in Cortland, NY. As an adult, I continued rescuing and rehoming cats and dogs until a few years ago when I welcomed my daughter. Now that she’s a bit older, I’m thrilled to be back doing what I love — caring for animals of all kinds. I understand that not every pet instantly warms up to new people, and that’s totally okay. I never force affection — instead, I read their cues, respect their boundaries, and build trust at their own pace. Whether your pet is shy, playful, senior, or special-needs, I’ll meet them where they are and give them the care and patience they deserve. Reliability and safety are my top priorities. When I’m in your home, I treat it with the same care and respect I would my own — leaving things clean, tidy, and often better than I found them. I value your privacy and always maintain discretion about your space and schedule. I’m detail-oriented and take note of the little things that make a big difference — from following feeding routines precisely to keeping track of any changes in your pet’s behavior. I’m also big on communication: you’ll receive thoughtful, photo-filled updates so you can relax knowing your pets are happy, safe, and cared for. Clients have described me as calm, reliable, and attentive — someone they can truly trust. My goal is always to create a stress-free experience for both you and your pet.
