Pet care experience
A walk is always improved with a dog!
We have taken care of dogs for our friends and family for around the last 5 years. Mostly larger energetic breeds but we are also happy with a snuggle indoors. We are also registered foster carers for the Scottish Greyhound Sanctuary and The Cinnamon Trust.

Rhiannon also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.

Blue had another visit to Rhiannon, this time just for the day. Rhiannon followed Blues routine as always, and updated us about how he was while we were away. We highly recommend Rhiannon… with Blue being a rescue, and very excitable and dog reactive, we were initially apprehensive about leaving him…. Wondering what he would be like, and how he’d cope. He has always been fine with Rhiannon, she looks after him well and puts our minds at ease! Thanks Rhiannon!

Rhiannon was great when she came to dog-sit for us one evening. She was very punctual, a good communicator and clearly loves dogs. Would definitely ask her to help out again.

Absolutely amazing! I have neber felt so relaxed leaving Dobby with someone before! Got daily updates about how he was doing and I definitely will be back!

Our rescue pup Blue had his 3rd stay with Rhiannon recently, this time for a longer period of time while we went on holiday. As always Rhiannon ensured Blue was well looked after and followed his routine’s in terms of feeding, administering any probiotics and ear drops etc. She provided daily updates and pictures too. Highly recommend Rhiannon, she is reliable and we would absolutely book her again to look after Blue.

Rhiannon stayed in our house to watch over our dogs and she was wonderful! We have one very old boy who is better in his own environment and Rhiannon treated our house and dogs with the greatest respect! I would recommend her to others in a heartbeat.

Rhiannon was great, very communicative, and our pup clearly had a nice walk with her (aside from the rain!). Would definitely use her again, and recommend to others as well 😊

Schedule
I have reduced my working hours for a greater work/life balance though i try and walk most evenings even on work days. We would aim for 2 decent walks a day but appreciate not all dogs need/want this. Weekends are spent out and about in the Scottish countryside walking in the hills.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have a large fenced back garden and we have a gate in our back fence which backs onto a a park. Inside the house is clutter free with plenty of space for your dogs to relax. While my teenagers may accompany us on walks (depending on their mood) I will always be solely in charge and your dog will remain on a lead unless specifically requested otherwise.
A typical day
A normal weekday would be 2 decent walks first and last thing with a midday short walk. At the weekend your dog will get a lovely long walk in beautiful countryside. Every single day they will be treated to lots of lovely cuddles.
