My entire life, I’ve had family dogs, and I’ve shared part of the responsibility for them with my entire family. At sixteen, I began pet-sitting for family friends and coworkers of my parents. I had a dog who had diabetes, so we would frequently have to give her insulin shots. So, I am not opposed to giving dogs medicine and shots, so long as they are friendly and are already used to their medicine!
