The dog man
I've had large dogs my whole life and have been pet sitting for countless neighbors over the years—so much so that I'm known around the neighborhood as 'the dog man.' Taking care of dogs has always come naturally to me, and I actually find their presence really calming, especially while studying for the MCAT. It's a great way to take a break and recharge

"Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or at a client’s, I try to keep things as stress-free and consistent as possible for the animal. I stick closely to their usual routine—walks, feeding times, playtime, and any specific care instructions. I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and love. I’m big on communication too, so I always keep the owners updated with how their pets are doing. Since I’m home studying for the MCAT most of the day, I’m around a lot to make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and happy.

I seriously don’t know what I would’ve done without Rhett! I had a last-minute trip come up and was panicking about what to do with my high-maintenance, overly dramatic dog. Rhett came to the rescue like an absolute pro. My dog took to him immediately and by the second day, I was getting photo updates of belly rubs, walks and dinner time. I never once felt uncomfortable having him in my home. He was respectful, communicative, and responsible. I’ve already recommended him to many friends!
I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter than Rhett. From the moment we met, he was kind, responsible, and completely put me (and my dog!) at ease. He not only cared for my dog like he was his own, but he also bathed him—which is no small task—and kept everything clean and calm in my home. I never once felt nervous about having a stranger in my house because Rhett didn’t feel like a stranger at all. He’s trustworthy, attentive, and clearly loves animals. I’ll absolutely be calling him again!

Schedule
I’m currently studying full-time for the MCAT, so I’m looking for a quiet way to make some coffee money on the side. Being around dogs is actually super calming for me, especially during long study days.
