Yoga Teacher Loves Dogs
I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life! Growing up, my family had three Dalmatians, a cat, two horses, and a variety of birds, lizards, and fish. Caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life, and I truly love creatures of all kinds. A while back, I lost my best friend, Chase — a brindle boxer mix I adopted and loved deeply. I still miss that sweet doggie energy so much. While I’m not quite ready for a fur baby of my own again, I absolutely love spending time with my friends’ and family’s pets and helping with animal care whenever I can. I originally joined Rover years ago, but I took a long break while traveling, teaching yoga, and hosting yoga retreats. Now I’m back in San Diego teaching yoga part-time, and I’m really looking forward to reconnecting with some animal energy again! I typically teach just 1–2 yoga classes a day, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to devote to your pets. Whether your animal needs long walks, cuddles, playtime, medication, structure, or simply loving company, I’m happy to adapt to their unique needs and routine. I’m very detail-oriented, dependable, and respectful of both your pets and your home. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your animals, and I will treat them with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own. I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family members!

Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
At this time, I only offer care in my clients’ homes and during walks or drop-in visits. I understand how important it is to trust someone with both your pets and your home, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I will always follow your instructions carefully regarding routines, feeding, medications, walks, safety precautions, and house rules. Your pet’s comfort and well-being are my top priorities. During walks, dogs will remain safely leashed unless you specifically request otherwise. I strive to create a calm, loving, and dependable environment so your pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.
Ratings and reviews
Reva took care of my bunny while I was away camping a couple weekends ago! I felt totally comfortable with her staying at my house; she made sure to come over beforehand to see exactly how to take care of her and even sent me pictures while I was away! It's so nice to be able to leave knowing my bun will be well taken care of. Thanks Reva!
Recommendation for Reva M. Pet Sitting We left our pups with Reva numerous times. Reva listened to what we wanted and then went far and beyond what we mentioned. One time after a rain storm they came in from the yard muddy and dirty. Reva found the dog shampoo and bathed both of them by herself. Whenever Reva came to our house they were always excited to see her. She also cleaned and washed their dinner bowls. Reva is welcome to sit for Cody & Bentley anytime. We feel they are receiving equal attention to what they receive from us. Dana & Sam L
Reva never met a dog she didn't love (and who didn't love her) or an animal she didn't want to bring home. Lost at the fair at two? No worries...she's curled up with the cow who's contentedly chewing her cud. Unruly Dalmatian at 5? No worries...obedience class star. Missing from snorkeling in Hawaii at 6? No worries...she's under the tree with doves perched up and down her shoulders and arms. I have seen her with mallard ducks under each arm, baby lambs following her around like puppies, a guinea pig upside down on her lap cooing with bliss, and a cockatiel's head lolling to the side with joy. Her own pets have included dogs, a cat, a horse, a cockatiel, teddy bear hamsters, and hermit crabs. Reva loves animals and they know it.
Reva took care of my senior kitty while I was away for a week. She treated him as if he were her own pet, talking to him and loving on him. She sent me a couple pictures while I was away too! She made sure all his needs were met and asked any questions if she was unclear on anything. I’d be so happy to have her help me again in the future!

Schedule
I’m currently teaching yoga part-time, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to devote to your pets. I’m available mornings, afternoons, and evenings for walks, drop-ins, feedings, playtime, cuddles, and companionship. Since I typically only teach 1–2 classes a day, your pets will receive lots of attention, care, and quality time throughout the day.
