A typical day
After completing all house duties, I'll determine how best to provide attention to your pet/s. All animals are different, so doing what they're comfortable with is very important. Cuddling, petting, playing, giving treats, or just existing in the same area as an animal can all provide the mental stimulation a pet needs while you're away.

Pet care experience
I've cared for many animals throughout my life. From frogs, lizards, turtles, and fish to guinea pigs, cats, dogs, and parrots. I have grown up with cats and dogs, and have been providing support to family and friends. Apart from pets I also spent 6 months at BARCs, socializing the many cats they house. This familiarized me with the many signals cats will send to communicate their feelings. Around 3 years ago I finally got my own cat and he is the most social, loud, and needy man I have ever interacted with. I am comfortable giving medicine. My boy has had 2 different surgeries to correct his teeth, and he never makes medicine easy. I have also had parrots for many years. Recently had to re-home them due to employment :( I am comfortable working with birds of all sizes. I deeply understand how emotionally intelligent, and needy they are.
Reviews

We had a great experience with Reniko as our cat sitter! He took excellent care of our three cats while we were away and gave us peace of mind throughout the visit. Communication was timely and appropriate, with regular updates and photos that let us know everyone was doing well. Our cats seemed happy, comfortable, and well cared for when we returned home. He even got our shy one to say hello (an impressive feat)! We would happily book with him again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive pet sitter.

Reniko was able to watch our sassy cat Piper on short notice! I enjoyed reading the visit summary and seeing photos everyday. Piper can be a bit aloof, but Reniko respected her space and kept her company nonetheless!
Reniko had good communication and did a great job caring for our 3 cats.

Reniko was a fantastic sitter, giving my cat lots of play time and pets every visit. Followed instructions to the letter and gave me lots of peace of mind. Can’t recommend him enough
