My family has had a dog since I was 7 and I was a latch-key kid, so it was my job to let her out when I got home. I love dogs of all types and myself and my dog Olie love to play with other dogs. I used to have another dog myself, but I travel a little as well and having two dogs would make it too difficult to do, so I would live to be able to care for your dog for the added love and joy that pets give.

This was the first time we used someone other than family to watch our dogs so we were a bit nervous on how it would go. Renee did a great job. We look forward to booking her again in the future.

Renee watched both my dogs and did a great job with them! No crates required, lots of good play time and care! She sent videos of my dog Dakota having a great time playing wit Olie. We will definitely use her services again!

Bella was well taken care of. It was nice that Renee would send a pic/message every day. I paid for late pick up time, even tho I didn’t need to cuz we got home by 3:00. I assumed Renee could keep that as her tip. I don’t go often anywhere without Bella. However, I would use Renee again.

Schedule
I work primarily Tuesdays and Thursdays for usually not more than 4 hours/day. Other than that, I am a homebody and have plenty of time available for a dog-sitting opportunity.

Safety, trust & environment
I do not have a fenced yard unfortunately, but I do have a tie-out, or I would be willing to stay at your home to sit your dog, Of course, your dog would have to be able to get along with my dog. In good weather, I will also walk my dog on the trails in my area. Preferably your dog should be leash-trained as I am unable to run at all. (I have a bad knee which doesn't function in those instances.) I have a double leash tie, so I would tie my dog with yours during the walks. I would prefer not to take care of puppies as they may require more hands-on supervision, but I would be available for short stays for house-trained dogs.

A typical day
I take the dogs on a 1/2 to 1 mile walks. there are several places to stop and let the dogs have running time and I like to let the dogs do this, but will not if the dog's recall is not good. The area in which I live has a small park for children and trails near a pond and small woods. It is very scenic. I also have a spot on the walk where I can stop in and see a few other dogs which has room for water and more play. Very good dogs and very friendly neighbors.

- I have watched elderly dogs and also deaf dogs. I should know the dog's habits about peeing at night, recall, attention, and hand gestures (or special collars) which may be necessary to work with a dog who is deaf. If high energy, I would like to know what their favorite activities might be.
