Please call me Renee. I’m a seasonal worker who spends time in beautiful mountain towns like Taos, Bend, and Sun Valley. While I don’t currently have pets of my own, I’ve been caring for animals since childhood—dogs, cats, and more. With 40+ years of experience, I offer walking, drop-ins, overnight care, and medication support. I specialize in calm, loving attention tailored to each animal’s needs, whether playful, shy, senior, or energetic. Your pet’s comfort and safety always come first. A note about my partner: I often house sit with my partner, Martin, who is a fellow animal lover and is also on Rover. He is kind, quiet, and respectful of others’ space. When he joins me, it’s simply as a supportive presence and never changes the rate or quality of care your pets receive. I always check first to make sure this is okay with you. Please note that for Winter in Sun Valley, Martin will only be joining me if it is on his day off.

Renee (Martha) and Martin were patient with my young cat, Jazz, while she took her time to warm up to them on their first stay with her. And, historically fearful of males (pre-rescue experiences, perhaps), Martin gave Jazz the space, time and understanding to get to know and trust him. I was so appreciative! It took almost a week-plus but by the end of the 15 day stay, she was snuggling and purring in his lap. Amazing! I’ll hope they’ll be available for future stays!

Renee and Martin were amazing with Koda! From the moment we met, I could tell they genuinely cared about animals and wanted to make sure Koda and Jade felt safe and loved. They sent regular updates and photos, which helped me feel totally at ease while I was away camping. I came back to happy, calm, and clearly well taken care of pets. I would absolutely trust them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for kind, responsible sitters who treat your dog like family. Thank you both so much!
Martha is an excellent pet sitter! She is conscientious in our home and loves on all our animals as if they were her own. She is honest, responsible, and dependable. I highly recommend her!
I had such a positive experience with Martha that it is hard to choose where to start. She cared for my two cats, and from their first interaction I could tell that she is doing this because she wants to, not because she has to. She was respectful of their house and their boundaries, performed all the tasks I requested, and sent me twice daily updates. When I returned from my trip, both of the little goobers were happy and healthy. I'll be contacting her again next time I'm out of town!

Schedule
I can easily accommodate walks, drop-ins, or overnights—especially during weekdays and early mornings or evenings. As I don’t currently have pets of my own, I love building pet care into my daily rhythm and treat each visit as a grounding, joyful part of my routine.
