Pet care is the heartbeat of our home. My days start with backyard play before I head to my morning classes on Mondays and Wednesdays. Since I’m only gone for four hours, the dogs are never alone for long. The rest of the week, I’m home full-time. Between my teens playing fetch and my toddler providing gentle company, your dog will be part of our 'couch snuggler' lifestyle, receiving constant attention, mid-day walks, and plenty of evening cuddles on the sofa.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is my top priority. Because our backyard is partially fenced, I never leave dogs unattended outside. All outdoor time is fully supervised and handled on a sturdy lead or long-line to ensure your pup stays secure while getting their fresh air and exercise. Inside, I use baby gates to manage our space safely for my toddler and your pet. Your dog will be treated like family, with a clean environment, constant monitoring, and unlimited couch snuggles in a home where someone is almost always available to provide love and attention.

Information Renee P. would like to know about your pet
To ensure a safe and happy stay, it is essential to know if your dog is comfortable around toddlers and other dogs, as they will be part of our daily family life. Since our backyard is partially fenced, please let me know if your pet is a 'flight risk' or has a strong prey drive so I can plan for extra-secure leash time. Additionally, I’d love to know about their potty routine, any 'resource guarding' (especially with toys or food), and if they are allowed on furniture—since we are a couch-snuggling household, we want to make sure our home environment matches their usual rules!
A typical day
Our mornings start with a supervised stretch and potty break in the yard on a long-line for safety. On my class days, pups enjoy a quiet, mid-morning 'nap time' while I’m away for four short hours. Once I’m home, the real fun begins! We spend the afternoon balancing backyard play with my toddler and relaxing in the living room. My teens love to help with gentle fetch sessions or extra scratches. By evening, we settle into our true 'couch snuggler' lifestyle—expect your dog to be tucked in with us on the sofa for movies and maximum cuddles before bed.

Pet care experience
I’m currently a college student and a mom to a busy household with both teens and a toddler. Because we already have pets of our own, our 'lifestyle' is really built around pet companionship—there is always a hand available for a scratch behind the ears or a lap for a nap. My Schedule: I'm out of school for the summer!!! I return in the fall. The 'Couch Snuggler' Lifestyle If your dog loves to be part of the action (and the furniture!), they’ll fit right in here. We are a 'couch snuggler' household. Whether the teens are hanging out after school or I’m decompressing from classes, there is usually a dog tucked under someone’s arm. We offer: Toddler-Tested Environment: My toddler is great with dogs (she doesn't touch them unless told), making this a perfect spot for socialized pups. Teen Energy: Plenty of extra hands for playtime and fetch in the yard. Cozy Evenings: Your dog is welcome on the sofa for movie nights and relaxation. Please note that messages sent after 10pm will not get a response until approximately 8am. Sleep is precious! New clients-if given adequate notice your dogs will be the only ones (outside of my own) to be in my care. This is important to me so that they feel comfortable during their stay..

Reviews

Renee was excellent. She sent pictures every day and kept us updated on how our dogs were doing. I would recommend her for anyone looking for a dog sitter.
Rene was great. Gracy. Was pooped out when I got her home. There was no problem with me coming back to pick her up late at night. The whole family is fantastic.
Renee did a great job Gracy loved her and the kids
Renee was extremely kind and flexible with us as we had a lot of things happening during this boarding session. She set up a meet and greet and during boarding shared frequent updates and photos. She also is very thoughtful about introducing a dog to her dog, her children, etc which leads to a much less stressful experience for the dog. I really appreciate her consideration! My dog came home happy and tired which is always a good sign.
