I’ve been a housekeeper for many years and have always done Petsitting/Pet Care on the side for my cleaning customers. Now that I am older I have given up the house cleaning and am just focusing on the fur babies. I moved down here to Florida a few years ago and decided I want to get back to petsitting. I was a former school bus driver back in Michigan. When I moved to Florida the thought of driving bus in this crazy traffic did not appeal to me. I became a store manager for a self storage facility down here but I’ve decided it’s time for me to get back to my passion. I want to care and love on your babies!!!

I have one elderly cat and two dogs currently in my home. My cat has to be quarantined to one part of the house due to the fact my dog Molly has developed a fear of cats and can’t be trusted with Lucy. She also doesn’t like other dogs so I unfortunately can’t do any petsitting in my home. I have excellent references that can be provided. I understand it is scary to let a stranger watch your fur child so I will gladly provide references at your request. I will cater to your pets special needs and will do my best to provide them comfort and love while you are away. I offer a free meet and greet to go over all care instructions that will be needed while you are away. This gives us a bit to get to know one another. I’m so excited to meet you and your furry family members.

A typical day
My husband and I love to hike the local trails and would love to have some company of the 4 legged kind. I used to love playing frisbee with my dog so any kind of outdoor activities such as that would be fun. If your dog is low energy a short walk and time spent cuddling is great too. Lots of cuddles and love will definitely be provided in abundance!!!

My heart truly belongs to the fur babies of this world!! I would absolutely enjoy making some extra income doing what I love most. I have taken 1 year of Vet Tech courses at Baker College. At the age of 16 I received my license and started Petsitting that very first week. I have 32+ years of experience being a Petsitter!!! I have worked in a Veterinary Clinic for a short time and have also worked at the Kent County Humane Society in Grand Rapids, MI. I have a lot of general knowledge in animal care and handling. I have a bit of experience in training dogs also. I would treat your fur babies as if they were my own. I have a lot of love to give and would love to get to know your fur baby/babies. ***If you book a drop in visit or walk the minimum I stay is 30 minutes. It’s not uncommon for me to hangout for up to an hour. I don’t view this as a job. It’s a honor and a pleasure to spend time with any and all fur babies so I’m often not in a hurry to leave.

Renee was great. She accommodated watching my pup until late (almost midnight) and took him to the dog park, on walks, and played with him. I knew my dog liked her when he whined after she left
