Pet care is naturally woven into our daily life. Since we work from home, our schedule allows us to plan the day around feeding times, walks, potty breaks, and rest. We aim to keep each guest on their regular routine as closely as possible. We’re intentional about limiting time away from home so care is never rushed.

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a single-family home with a fully fenced backyard, providing a secure space for supervised outdoor time and potty breaks. Inside, our home is thoughtfully arranged to be both safe and comfortable. We’re best suited for dogs under 25 pounds due to our space and resident pup, though we’re happy to schedule a meet-and-greet for slightly larger dogs to ensure compatibility. Crates are available for crate-trained dogs who prefer their own space, and we carefully follow feeding instructions, medications, and household rules to maintain consistency. For enrichment, we offer relaxed, leashed neighborhood walks based on your preferences.

Information Renee & Christopher L. would like to know about your pet
To help us create the safest and most comfortable stay possible, we love learning about your dog’s personality, habits, and preferences ahead of time. Tell us about their daily routine, feeding schedule, sleep setup, and whether they’re crate-trained or free roam at home. It’s also helpful to know how they do with other dogs, whether they’re fully house-trained, if they’re allowed on furniture, and if they have any guarding behaviors, anxieties, or known triggers. Please share any allergies, medications, mobility concerns, or special care instructions as well. The more we understand about what makes your pup feel secure and happy, the better we can make their stay feel familiar, smooth, and stress-free. We schedule a meet-and-greet prior to all first stays to ensure a comfortable fit for everyone and help your pup feel confident from the very beginning. Because we host a limited number of dogs at a time to maintain a peaceful environment, availability can fill quickly — especially around holidays and peak travel dates.
A typical day
Our days are calm and structured. Mornings begin with a potty break, breakfast, and fresh air in the yard or a neighborhood walk. During the workday, the house is naturally quieter, and most dogs settle in for naps and relaxed downtime with regular potty breaks. This environment works especially well for pups who are comfortable resting during the day. In the late afternoon and evening, we transition into dinner, a walk or yard time and light play or cuddle time. On weekends, and with your permission, we may include a relaxed leashed beach stroll for dogs who enjoy a little adventure. It’s a balanced stay with a healthy mix of rest, routine, and attentive care.

Your Pup’s Home Away From Home
Pet care experience
Leaving your dog behind isn’t easy — that’s why we’ve created a peaceful, loving home where they’re truly cared for like family. Our calm, structured environment helps dogs feel secure and settled while you’re away, so you can travel with complete peace of mind. We’ve been devoted dog parents for nine years and have cared for rescue pups with a wide range of personalities and needs. We understand that every dog is unique and tailor our care to help each one feel comfortable and at ease. Since we both work from home, your dog will have steady companionship throughout the day — no long stretches alone. With a fully fenced yard, a gentle resident pup, and a consistent daily rhythm, your dog becomes part of our home — not just a guest. Because we prioritize quality over quantity, each pup receives attentive, individualized care. Our home is especially well suited for small dogs who thrive in a calm, structured environment and are comfortable settling indoors during the day.
Reviews

Our pup LOVES staying at Renee & Christopher’s! They send the best photos and videos and Wally always looks like he’s having the BEST time!

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Renee and Christopher for Chewy’s daycare. They’re easy to work with, send frequent updates, and are clearly very thoughtful dog lovers — our senior dog Chewy seems so happy and comfortable in their home. Chewy often takes a while to warm up to new people, but they were quick to get a read on his personality and have made him feel at ease. When we go to drop him off he usually runs right in without looking back!

Renee and Chris took excellent care of my dog — a newly adopted rescue. He has stayed with them two times. They were very patient and loving as he gained confidence in a new setting, and provided frequent updates and pictures. Highly recommend!

Renee and Christopher feels like a second home for Jeffrey. We absolutely love the way they care for him when we are away. Thank you both for another wonderful stay with you.
