Reliable, Loving Care for Your Dog
With over 30 years of experience caring for animals of all kinds—dogs, cats, pigs, horses, ferrets, birds, turtles, and rabbits—I bring a lifetime of knowledge and love to pet sitting. Growing up on a mini farm, I learned how to care for animals with patience and dedication. I work from home, so your pet will have constant companionship, and my home features a secure backyard with a doggie door for easy outdoor access. I have have a very friendly dachshund who enjoy the company of other small pups. Unfortunately, I’m unable to accommodate larger dogs, but for smaller pets, I provide a safe, loving, and attentive environment. I have a senior dog so I am also well versed in senior dog care and administering medications as my dog Baxter has needed different types of care over the years. I also have pet sitter insurance through Pet Care Insurance Company for your peace of mind.

Rene is the best! Daisy always come home happy and I never worry about her while away.
I felt so comfortable leaving Spirit with Renee. She sent videos of him - both comfortable parked on her couch (in his favorite spot on the back of the couch) - and in friendly interaction with other dogs. She also showed a wonderful video of playing with him with the hose (without getting him wet) where he was having a great time. Her place is set up with easy access for the dogs to go inside or out, which I liked, and the whole place is like a living room designed for dogs. Each dog can have their own spot. She has more dogs during the day and a few at night. All the dogs are small and very well-mannered. It was a perfect combination of loving playful care and socialization (which is great for my dog who can be so shy.). Will definitely use her again and I highly recommend her.
Maggie and Trouble had a great time with Rene! She took wonderful care of our girls!

Schedule
I work from home, which means your pet will have plenty of companionship and attention throughout the day. When I do step out, they’ll still have access to a secure backyard through a doggie door, giving them freedom and comfort while staying safe. Every pet in my care is treated like family, receiving plenty of love, affection, and personalized attention. Whether they need playtime, snuggles, or just a calm environment, I strive to make them feel right at home.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a securely fenced backyard where your dog can safely explore, along with a friendly small dog to keep them company and help them feel at ease. My apartment is spacious—2,000 square feet—giving your pet plenty of room to roam, play, and relax. If your dog is crate-trained and you prefer them to be crated at night or when I’m out, I’m happy to accommodate. I have a crate available, or you’re welcome to bring your own to ensure their comfort and routine stay consistent.

A typical day
Doggies in my care get lots of love and cuddles throughout the day and two walks a day. Saturdays and Sundays I’ll often take the dogs to a local park (no dog parks) or the beach!
