I work full time during the week as a teacher so i am available for weekend boarding, evening drop ins M-F, and some holiday/school vacation weeks. I also work per diem as a veterinary technician and am able to bring your pet to work with me as needed.

I have 2 pups and a Bearded Dragon in a home with a large living room and kitchen area. Gates are at all entrances/exits and i have crates as well to provide a safe space for your dog during their stay. Drop ins include cleaning of cage/enclosure (for exotics), cleaning of the litter box, feeding and spending time as needed.

Let me know if your furbaby has any special needs, behaviors, medications or chronic illnesses. Also a current vaccination status is welcome but not required! All dogs boarding in my home must be crate trained or able to be confined for safety and damage control within my home. Meet and greets with my two pups are mandatory before boarding services can begin to ensure the safety and comfort of all animals in my care!
A typical day
After waking up and going out to potty we will most likely have breakfast, some after breakfast snuggles, and then head out for a hike or to the dog park! We live close to three different nature preserves with a variety of trails and two fantastic dog parks! Sometimes we will go for car rides and help run errands ( I have a remote start car). When we are home playing is encouraged as well as more snuggles and lots of treats and love!

Pet care experience
I am a veterinary technician at a local ER facility, so I am able to care for any dog, cat, exotic pet with any existing health needs and medications. I can do drop in visits for birds and exotics! I also have an extensive history working in animal husbandry at a few local zoos and aquariums. Anything your pet needs, I can handle! I am working full time during the week but my weekends and weeknights are free! I also have the ability to bring your baby to work with me on weekends as needed! For feline friends I am available for in home kitty care/drop ins on weeknights and in your home care/drop ins on weekends! Unfortunately, at this time, I cannot accept cats into my home. for boarding. I have 2 dogs of my own and we enjoy hiking, paddle boarding and going to the dog park! We also like to slow things down and cuddle and watch TV. Any pup I am caring for in my home will receive the same treatment as if they are my own! I also have owned cats as a child and love to give them snuggles and play time as well! I love and care for all animals big and small! as stated above, I work full time during the week but I am available weeknights after 3pm and weekends. all stairways and doors have kiddie gates installed, I will provide frequent walks and potty breaks and i have 2 different crate sizes to offer if your fur baby prefers their own space. My 2 energetic and friendly pups will be there to offer company and play time to your baby as well! Please note: I cannot accept dog aggressive or dog selective dogs into my home.

Rene, and her pups, are always so welcoming to my dog Cory. It’s so nice to be able to take a trip and know my dog is in the best care.
Rene was great with Olive & Blaze. They were well cared for, I would definitely use Rene again.
Rene always takes great care of Cory. She noticed that he was itchy and has some skin irritation so asked if he could have some Benadryl, and always sends pics and videos of him playing and having a great time.
