I have always loved dogs and treat them as part of the family. I have trained many pups and cared for all their needs. We have had dogs with medical needs. It is important that they are comfortable. We also raised many great danes over the years and very familiar with their nature.

Rene really knows dogs and has a great manor with them. My dogs felt at home at their first visit and were very comfortable in their house. She was able to give my dog medicine he hates which was impressive. I will definitely be dropping them with Rene again.
We had a wonderful experience with Rene! As someone who has a lot of anxiety being away from my dog, Cheddar, who is also my emotional support animal, finding the right sitter was incredibly important to me. Meeting Rene beforehand and seeing her beautiful property immediately helped put my mind at ease. Her property was the perfect “puppy vacation” for Cheddar—there was plenty of open space for him to explore and play, while still having shaded areas to stay comfortable in the Arizona heat. I also loved that he had easy access to the home through a doggy door, giving him the freedom to move between indoor and outdoor spaces. Throughout his stay, Rene provided daily updates, which meant so much to me and helped ease my anxiety while I was away. It was clear that Cheddar was well cared for, happy, and enjoying himself. I would absolutely trust Rene with him again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, communicative, and experienced pet sitter!
Rene was so kind and understanding when we had an emergency and needed someone we could rely on with our boy. She was very flexible to help accommodate our needs and we know our boy was well taken care of in her home. We can’t thank her enough for everything she did to help us and care for him.
Rene is honestly the biggest animal lover I know. Ever since she retired, getting to spend time caring for pets has made her so happy. She has a really big property (over an acre!) that’s completely fenced and gated, so there’s tons of safe space for dogs to explore. There’s also a separate backyard with a block wall and a doggy door, so pets can go in and out whenever they want. When she’s outside with them, they even get to enjoy the larger yard, which is like a little adventure for them. She has a beagle who is super friendly and LOVES having other dogs come over. She gets so excited whenever new friends visit, and it’s really cute to see how well all the dogs get along. Rene pays attention to every little detail and makes sure each pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy place for their dog!
I can’t recommend Rene enough as a Rover host. She’s recently retired and truly has a passion for animals. Caring for them isn’t just something she does, it’s something she genuinely loves. Her property is over an acre in size and is fully gated, making it a great setup for pets. There’s also a secure block wall backyard with doggy door access, so pets can go in and out as they need. When supervised, they also have access to the larger property, giving them even more space to explore and enjoy. She also has a very friendly dog who absolutely enjoys having other dogs around, which makes it a fun and welcoming environment. We bring our Great Dane to stay with her a few times a year, and it’s always such a relief knowing our dog is in a safe, loving, and attentive home. She treats every animal like her own and goes above and beyond to make sure they’re comfortable and well cared for. If you’re looking for someone you can trust with your pet, she’s a wonderful choice.
I have known Rene for 20+ years and as long as I've known her, she's been a total animal lover. Rene has a nice big property in far north Phoenix that is ideal for taking care of pets. Plus, since Rene recently retired at the end of 2025, she has the time and availability for caring for pets. I have not had Rene care for my pets as I am retired and currently have no need for a pet caretaker as I no longer travel. However, I certainly could have used her a few years back when I was constantly traveling. I would definitely recommend Rene for this service!

Schedule
I am recently retired and mostly home now. Dogs are welcome to spend the day lounging inside or outside. I am very attentive to any pet left to stay with me and will make sure they are comfortable.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a double fence large property which provides great security for our dogs. They have access to the block fenced back yard with a doggie door. Plenty of room to run and exercise. The house sits on over an acre and inside very large open areas.
Pets
A typical day
Play time with toys to stimulate their activity. I like to talk to the dogs and say their names to comfort them. We have some play time outside and can take walks on my property so they are safe. Outside time will be monitored due our Arizona Summer. No pet left outside on hot days ever!
