A typical day
I believe that animals and humans benefit from a positive human-animal bond, and I would love to develop this with your pet(s). I feel this is accomplished through positive interactions that may include games, downtime (petting, belly rubs, etc.), treating, and any other activities your pet may enjoy. For this reason, I would like input from you on what activities, enrichment, and environments your pet(s) enjoy most. My goal is to make your pet as stress-free as possible while you are away. I am an Elite Fear Free Certified® Professional and use only positive methods and techniques with all animals.

Licensed Vet Technologist & More
Pet care experience
****At this time I am mostly available for drop-ins and walks but please inquire about overnights, my schedule may accommodate. Animals are a big part of my life. As a pet parent, throughout the years, I have had the opportunity to love and be loved by many very special animals. In my professional life, I am a Licensed Veterinary Technologist and truly love my work caring for other's pets. My passion for animals doesn't stop there as I also work as an Animal Search & Rescue Technician, and volunteer my time with local and national organizations. I pride myself on the compassion I show all animals and believe it is important to gain their trust, ultimately contributing to a positive human-animal relationship. Our pets are family and for that reason, I feel it is important to show all animals including those trusted in my care, the same love, respect, and treatment, I would want for my own. Communication is important to me, so rest assured I will be happy to answer any questions or concerns you might have prior to your leaving. My number 1 priority is your pet(s) but also providing you with the confidence and assurance your beloved pet is in good hands. I am able to care for multiple species so no worries if you have cats, pocket pets, or any other small critters also needing loving care. I am currently working for a local Veterinary Behaviorist and also am attending Grad School for veterinary forensic science. My schedule is pretty flexible for drop ins and walks, but in home situation is limited due to having a pilot husband. I would need to check his schedule if overnights are needed, as we have 3 dogs :). When your pet is in my care, they are my priority. Prior to my caring for your pet, I will meet with you and go over history including, any medical conditions, behavior, and activities your pet loves. Regarding drop-ins, rest assured your pet will never be left outdoors alone and all feces will be picked up and disposed of. Regarding walks, I do not allow your pet to interact with other dogs or humans we may encounter. I only use traditional leashes and do not use flex leashes/retractible. If necessary, I can always use my own if the only option is a flex/retractible. Regarding Cats: Litter boxes will be cleaned each day, and special attention will be paid to all eliminations that are normal and in the boxes and not elsewhere. I aim always to keep your pet safe and low-stressed while you are away.
