I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats of every kind since I was very young. Neighbors, friends, co-workers, bosses, all have relied on me to care for their pets as if they were my own. 2 years ago, I started working for a petsitting company and have gained even more experience during that time working with a variety of different dogs and cats. I am available to give one on one personal attention to your pet either in my home or yours Sunday through Saturday which includes nights and weekends as well as housesitting while on vacation. I have two friendly dogs of my own to keep your pet company during the day and do have the option to crate a dog if you are working on teaching your dog that as well. I do love animals and enjoy the time spent with them.

I have a fenced in yard in which you can feel comfortable that your puppy will have a comfortable, safe and secure place to play while they are outside. I follow your instructions on how you’d like your pet cared for in a clean playful environment for the quietest to the most energetic of pets. If I sit in your home, I will leave your home as though I were not there being respectful of your home and belongings. We have a Poop Removal Company to keep our yard clean!

Renate watched our moderately hyper golden doodle with ease. She was so awesome the times she sat him before- when we relocated out of state- I brought him back to MI knowing he would be in good hands during our visit. This time she also sat our really particular yorkipoo who is a stage 5 clinger and has separation anxiety. She keeps you updated constantly, is accommodating, predicts your needs during busy travel (eg asked if she should give both their anxiety rx the am of pickup knowing we had travel same day), and clearly has passion for sitting! Drop off and pickup is a breeze. Home is clean and never smells like “dogs.”Her two dogs are very sweet and seem laid back. Whole family really is sweet. See you on our next trip home to MI Renate!

Renate was very loving with Mishqui and took care of her for more than two weeks. I found it very meaningful that Mishqui could stay with Renate’s dogs Kate and Charlotte that are very adorable.
Renee took excellent care of my pup. She sent regular updates and photos. It was our first time leaving him with someone other than family, but he was in great hands and well loved while with her. Highly recommend!

Im hesitant to leave this review because she will be booked all the time if people knew Renate is PHENOMENAL! We had a hectic travel day with a puppy who had an unprecedented poop in the car on the way to her house. Renate quickly normalized the puppys likely anxiety and mistake. She offered to help w/ a quick backyard bath, and a kit for me to clean myself who was all but covered in poop. Her dogs were very friendly upon arrival and clearly used to fur friends and guests. She sent me a daily early morning text of our puppy likely sensing my anxiety about leaving him with someone for the first time his whole one-year life. I really enjoyed waking up to photos of him - reassuring me he was in good hands. She even agreed to facetime me so I could see him and he could hear my voice and say hi to his siblings. The pictures also told me he was embraced by the WHOLE family! He was clearly loved on while we were gone. Unlike my worry of kennels, he returned virtually how we left him without any weird coughs or other ailments people have mentioned when kenneling their animals. I also got the sense he spent more time out playing and cuddling opposed to crated all day and night which I estimate was a treat and far more time out than he gets at home while still potty training. She clearly enjoys sitting and bonds she builds albeit briefly with the pets. I have already recommended her to my friends and she will be my first choice for future sitting needs. I currently work for a petsitting company on a part time so I will have plenty of time caring for your beloved pet in my home or yours. Loving them, giving them a trusted place to be while you are away. Helping to build their confidence.
