I just received notice of an indefinite layoff so I will have all the time in the world to do something I genuinely enjoy. I feed both my dog and foster dog using enrichment tools(snuffle, puzzle, Kong, find it) trim their nails with a Dremel weekly, give them meds daily. They're always so excited for their daily walks, rain or shine. Though our foster boy needs to be bundled up to handle the cold.

I believe following a routine is important. Pets will be fed when they're used to, given meds as prescribed by your vet. Light grooming if requested (I may charge for more challenging grooms. Details can be discussed). If your dog is afraid of nail trims, brushing or anything else, we can work together on cooperative care to make necessary care less stressful for them.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs. I can accommodate reactive dogs by working on engage/disengage games, avoiding triggers, or burning energy indoors. Fearful dogs may need extra meet and greets. Just let me know and we can make a plan to accommodate your beloved pet.
A typical day
A typical day depends on the needs of the individual pet. A low energy pet may just want some cuddles, food, or litter cleaning. A high energy dog may need enrichment based meals, sniff walks, training, flirt pole, fetch play, or other breed specific enrichment.

I've had pets my whole life but it wasn't until I adopted a dog of my own that I truly learned what it means to care for one. I now have experience with reactive and fearful dogs, counter conditioning, desensitization, and canine enrichment.

Remy was amazing with my rescue dog, Bowie! He has separation anxiety and can be fearful of new people and Remy was incredible. They understood his quirks and was accommodating and patient and created a calming and supportive environment for him while we were out. We got tons of pictures and updates too which I loved.
