I always make sure to be home at least every two hours (or whatever is requested) but I sometimes have scheduling conflicts or need more flexibility. I have a partner who is also on Rover and willing to help out.

My home is pet-safe with guarded access to food, cleaning supplies, garbage, etc. My neighborhood is very pet friendly and there are plenty of parks and good walks for dogs. I have a cat at home who gets along with other cats as well as smaller dogs.

A typical day
I love to take dogs to the park and play fetch or run around with them. Just walking is good, too— I’m happy to take dogs for any length walk (even for a swim)—whatever you’d like. I also enjoy entertaining pets inside, especially if they’re snuggly or playful! (Cat toys are human toys, too, in my opinion.)

Pet care experience
I work full time as a children’s mental health therapist but love to hangout with and care for pets whenever I get the chance. I especially love walking dogs and playing with cats. I grew up with the most wonderful dog and love all other animals! I now have a cat and keep my dog-owning friends close. I’ve dog/cat sat for many people and have dog training experience as well. I’ve cared for fish, guinea pigs, bunnies, hamsters, hermit crabs, turtles, geckos, lizards, bearded dragons, frogs, mice (including training), and more (house plants, too!).
