Certified zoomies curer

I'm a behavior-focused psychologist based in New Haven, with a background in applied animal behavior analysis. I've raised and trained two dogs of my own, and long hikes and dog park trips are still our favorite way to spend a day. I've been dog, cat, and house sitting for other families for the past 8 years, so I know what it takes to keep a home and a pet's routine running smoothly while you're away. I recently started a private training practice called Big Dog Energy, and that training mindset bleeds into every service I offer, not just formal sessions. I pay attention to stress signals, manage triggers on leash, and keep things calm and consistent so your dog feels comfortable with me. For walks, I keep to your dog's normal pace and routine rather than rushing through it. For drop-in visits, I'll handle feeding, potty breaks, and playtime, and send you updates so you're not wondering how things are going. For house sitting, your dog stays in their own space with their own routine, just with me there to keep it running smoothly. If you're interested in training alongside care, I'm currently taking new training clients. Feel free to inquire.

Reine did an AMAZING job sitting for our dog and cat! Our pup is prone to separation anxiety and can often be nervous around new people, but she is clearly very experienced with this and helped make him at ease right away. She even gave us behavioral suggestions for how to help him with these things in the future. She gave us frequent updates and really went beyond what I expected to make sure the animals were well taken care of. I highly recommend her!

Reine is so good with dogs you can tell she is an animal lover and owner of many years! Reine has walked several large dogs together and they all love her. She loves all types of animals and is very caring with cats as well! She is great with her roommate’s cat and can care for any animal well because of her adaptable personality. I completely recommend Reine as a wonderful petsitter!
