Texas Ecologist Dog Walks!
I have taken care of dogs, cats, and farm animals of all ages for the past 3 years in Texas as a job (ignoring the aussies my family has had since I was a child). I have just moved to Utah to do my Doctorate in Ecology, and would love to be able to connect with pets again! I have volunteered at several animal shelters since I was young, and I have food safety training and I have worked with less sociable/more fearful dogs. I am also certified in the state of Texas to care for shelter/at risk dogs.

I try to create a calm environment from the get go, to make sure your pet feels comfortable with me before we engage in our stimulating activity! I find it incredibly important to provide enrichment to all pets no matter their breed or age, and try to do so and take into account their requirements and limitations.

I have hired Reilly to dog sit and watch my 92lbs Akita Po on 4 separate occasions. Po can be a very difficult dog to dog sit. She is a very active and high energy girl with a slight case of anxiety around new people. Reilly was great with her! Despite Po’s normal shyness, she took to Reilly immediately. Reilly took her for daily walks and communicated with regularly about Po’s activity, general state of well being, food intake, and always sent pictures of them playing together. I highly recommend Reilly to anyone needing either a daily dog walker or dog sitter/caretaker while you’re away. Reilly is super communicative, highly responsive, and very dependable. Schedule
I currently study at the university part time so being able to care for your pet most days would be easy for me to schedule. I can aim for cooler or warmer parts of the days as seasons change, and could expect to consistently do so!

- I would appreciate knowing if your pet has arthritis so our play can be less joint straining, or any medication they need to take/supplements. Also if your dog is not social. I can take them around areas I’m familiar with to avoid other dogs or too busy of an area.
