I grew up taking care of family dogs and began sitting friends dogs before adopting my own pup, Scooby. I'd grown up with typically smaller and mid size dogs and sitting a large dog helped me realize how much I loved the gentle giants and rowdy ones. Scooby was a handful initially - reactive, anxious, stubborn. I knew with love, care and time he'd become the gentle giant he is today. I'm committed to always learning more about training and helping dogs be good safe citizens.

Reginald is someone I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and trustworthy pet caregiver. I have personally observed him with my dog, Ziggy, who can be challenging at times, and Reggie is always patient, calm, and gentle with him. I’ve also had the opportunity to see how Reggie cares for his own dog, Scooby. It is clear that Scooby is more than just a pet. He is a beloved member of the family. The love, attention, nurturing, and care Reggie provides are reflected in Scooby’s happy, well-behaved, and obedient nature. Reggie has a genuine love for animals, and I have no doubt that he would provide the same level of patience, compassion, and attentive care to every pet entrusted to him. I would feel completely comfortable recommending him to any pet parent looking for someone they can trust with their furry family member.
Reggie has been taking care of my dog Rubio for over a year and a half. I often travel for work and it’s so nice to have a reliable, loving and caring person to take care of my pup. Whenever I need him, he’s always so quick to respond to let me know that Rubio is welcome at his house. I am always certain that Rubio will be safe, fed, AND having so much fun.

Schedule
I work remotely which allows for lots of proximity if needed as well as flexibility in planning daycare / boarding daytime walks, play and drop ins.

My goal is pup fulfillment. That means engagement through play, pets, walks, treats games. I make sure to include time to decompress whether it’s on a cozy pillow at home or in the shade after running and rolling in the grass. I’m attentive to dietary needs. From model citizens to pups with “problem behaviors” I’m committed to working together to ensure they have the best time while you’re away.

A typical day
I love to let dogs be dogs. There will be lots of play that fits your pup's style indoors and out. I provide treat puzzles, activities and welcome your favorite toys from home. Your pup is welcome to join on hiking adventures on afternoons or weekends. I prefer sniffpots/private location over dog parks.
