Availability
At the moment I can adapt my schedule to meet the needs of your pets!-- I don't start teaching again in October, and will update my availability as needed. While I do light work on my computer, I am flexible with my schedule and can be available mornings, afternoons and/or evenings. Extended stays and overnights, if your home has wifi, is also an option if your pet does best with someone close. I have access to a car and love going on walks or just chilling to provide company and cuddles for your fur baby. Ideally, I'd prefer to drive/ visit during the day so that I might have dinners with my father most nights but am open to adjusting based on your needs!

To provide the best care possible I prefer to learn as much as possible about your pet/s including their personalities, feeding schedules, favorite things and any special needs. Additionally it is helpful to know how your pet reacts to other people, animals or has any special needs, medications or anxious triggers. Please let me know about each and the boundaries that make you feel most comfortable and I will respect your wishes with the utmost consideration. Regarding my home, I have a 4’ fenced-in yard (suited for medium/non-jumping dogs) and due to my work overseas I have no current pets of my own! I have experience with puppies/seniors, small, medium and large dogs as well as a variety of breeds. I'd want your pet to feel as welcome as possible with play, interaction and plenty of pets and snuggles.

Information Regina B. would like to know about your pet
I would need to know relevant history, triggers, training practices, medications or your pet/s' special needs. Additionally it is helpful to know how your pet reacts to other people, animals or daily objects (...or if your pet has digging/escape tendencies as our fence is a husky-proof steel barrier but could possibly fall vulnerable to any high-jump champions or determined escape-artists). We've never had any problems but I'd prefer to know what risks to look for. If boarding, at times my young nieces and nephews come by to visit, so children could be present- I'd prefer to know in advance if this might prevent issues so that I could ask them not to stop by. (Unfortunately with my father living with me, we cannot host cats due to his allergies.)
A typical day
I love an excuse to explore the nearby portage-area parks to stimulate your dog with nature, exercise and fun smells, as well as go for walks along my neighborhood bike path. Our backyard is spacious for games of catch, chase or to let out the zoomies. If at your location, I'm happy to explore new places or travel your dog's favorite routes!

Pet care experience
I've been caring for dogs since I was 8 but I've loved all animals my whole life. I am also an experienced, responsible and trusted pet and housesitter. I've cared for neighbors', coworkers', and friends' cats, dogs, turtles, guinea pigs (etc.) since I was 11 and have a reputation for being responsible, considerate and genuine. I spend the school year teaching abroad but I am home during the summer. I am excited by the opportunity to take care of others' furbabies during the breaks when I am completely free!
Reviews

Regina is absolutely wonderful with our pups! We have two really large Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs and she is very comfortable and confident with them. Our younger pup can be a bit shy and standoffish with new people, but he felt comfortable with her from the start. You can tell she is great with dogs and dogs love her! Regina is very responsive and provides great communication when she watches our dogs. You can tell that she is not only a great dog sitter, but a good person as well!
Regina is a great communicator and quick to respond. She was very sweet with our Stella and sent us pictures and updates of their walks. We will definitely use her again.
Very good with Mac and communication
Regina did a great job with my anxious dog Murphy! I felt great and was able to enjoy my trip knowing she was watching him. She also left my house clean and sent update texts
