What sets me apart is the amount of hands-on experience I have had with animals throughout my life. I grew up on a farm, so caring for animals and understanding their different needs has always been second nature to me. I have also volunteered and fostered for my local animal shelter since I was 18, which has given me experience with animals of different ages, personalities, backgrounds, and comfort levels. Because of my fostering experience, I am comfortable being patient with animals who may be shy, nervous, adjusting to a new environment, or simply need a little extra attention. I understand that every pet is different, and I make a point to follow their normal routine and care instructions closely. I am also an online student with a flexible schedule, so I am able to give the pets in my care plenty of attention rather than being away for long periods of time.

Schedule
I am currently an online student, which gives me a very flexible and open schedule. Because I am able to complete my schoolwork from home and plan my days around my own schedule, I have plenty of availability for walks, drop-in visits, feeding schedules, playtime, and overnight care.

Whether I am caring for a pet in my home or theirs, my goal is to keep their routine consistent and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owner is away.

A typical day
I love keeping pets active, entertained, and comfortable based on their individual personality and energy level! For dogs, that may include walks, playing fetch or tug-of-war, exploring outside, enrichment activities, or simply spending time together and giving them plenty of attention. For pets who are a little more relaxed, I am just as happy to provide lots of cuddles, companionship, and quiet time. Because I have experience with animals of all different ages, temperaments, and backgrounds, I understand that not every pet enjoys the same activities. I will always follow your pet’s normal routine and any preferences you share with me so their time with me feels as familiar, fun, and stress-free as possible.
