Hi! We’re a dog-loving couple offering home boarding (our priority) and daycare in a calm, structured environment where dogs can truly relax and feel secure. We’re very experienced with large and giant breeds, including owning our own Great Dane, so we’re confident, capable, and comfortable caring for bigger dogs with strength and energy. We understand the importance of clear communication, consistency, and calm handling — and many dogs respond incredibly well to this approach. We make a real effort to stick closely to your dog’s usual routine, including feeding times, walks, rest periods, and training cues. We reinforce good manners using positive, fair handling so dogs maintain their training while they’re with us. Exercise is a big part of life here. We regularly enjoy long walks in the hills and other scenic outdoor areas, always tailored to suit your dog’s age, breed, and energy levels. Mental enrichment and calm downtime are just as important to us as physical exercise. At home, we provide a settled, dog-focused environment. Dogs have their own comfortable sleeping areas downstairs and are encouraged to switch off and relax. We’ve found this structure helps dogs settle more quickly and feel confident in a home setting.
