I’ve had pets my whole life, including cats I grew up with from age 3 to 21 and a dog of my own until she passed 2.5 years ago. I’ve also lived with roommates who had pets, so I’m very comfortable caring for both dogs and cats. I understand their needs, routines, and how to keep them happy, safe, and well cared for.

Rebekka was really responsive, friendly and enthusiastic. She was easy to communicate with and our dog had a great 3 night stay with her.
I have had the pleasure of watching Rebekka with her own dog, my dogs, and many strangers' dogs, and her ease and warmth are always immediately apparent. I have a dog who can be uncertain around new people and vocal about his reservations. Rebekka never pushed him; she respected his boundaries completely, and because of that, he feels entirely safe and comfortable with her. I shows his love of her and want to connect any time we cross paths. Beyond her deep patience, Rebekka is incredibly competent and upbeat. She seamlessly adapts to the unique needs of different dogs, managing everything from anxious behaviours to high-energy play with confidence. The pure enjoyment she gets from spending time with animals shines through in everything she does. Her friendly, welcoming personality makes dogs naturally gravitate toward her, and I couldn't recommend her highly enough to anyone looking for someone to care for their furry family member.
Rebekka has been one of the most amazing people to help my geriatric, single-brain-celled, American Cocker Spaniel. She watched over her while we were away for two weeks and took her on multiple excursions and was very accommodating with updates daily. We knew that Hope was well taken care of, mostly because she was so dissapointed to not be seeing her friend every day. Rebekka also was spectacular with our cats, who also share a brain cell. She communicated with us daily that both cats were seen, when the litter box was tidied and went above and beyond when I had miscalculated the food situation, Rebekka was happy enough to go to Pet Valu and not only buy our boys their urinary cat food, but also brought them home some cat nip to help with the momentary loss of their favorite house mates (*my family). Overall, booking with Rebekka was nothing more than a delight, and we are happy to book her again.

I’m transitioning from a corporate dental career to focus more on what I love—animals and the outdoors—while building a flexible, balanced lifestyle. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine, as my toddler is in daycare during the day and my schedule allows me to be present, reliable, and attentive. My partner owns his own business, which I also help with, so I’m used to managing responsibilities and staying organized. This flexibility means I can give pets the time, care, and attention they deserve, whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or companionship.

I love getting dogs out into nature and enjoy taking them on walks and hikes in places like Gatineau Park. I’m happy to accommodate both group walks for social dogs or solo outings for those who prefer one-on-one attention. I also offer cat sitting in your home, making sure your cat stays comfortable in their familiar environment while receiving lots of care, attention, and affection.
A typical day
I enjoy going for long walks and finding new dog friendly hiking trails and beautiful neighbourhoods to explore! Also taking a trip out of the city the Constance Bay beach for a water play/walk is an all time favorite.
