I've had cats for my whole life, and I have many years of cat-sitting experience as well. Senior kitties also hold a special place in my heart. My late kitty Jezebel (the white cat in my pictures) was my best friend for almost 19 years, and with her I also learned the patience and compassion required with elder cat care. These days my companions include Dottie, a one-eyed, toothless, tongue-out rescue from Conquer the Colony (yes, she’s their logo!) and Penelope, an older furball who likes to take long naps in weird places. I’ve won over the shyest cats, sat with the neediest cats, and tired out the most energetic cats. I can’t wait to meet yours!

Respecting boundaries is the name of the game when it comes to cats, especially with new people. I can be as involved as your cat prefers, or I can keep my distance. You can enjoy your time away knowing that your cats' food and water bowls are filled, the litter box is clean, and the house is free of hairballs.

Rebekah was great with our two cats and sent us daily pictures of them. One of our cats is extremely shy and skittish around strangers and the fact that he came out for Rebekah regularly tells us she's something of a cat whisperer. We recommend her strongly.
Rebekah took good care of my three cats while we were away, thinking of creative activities to engage them and even making my very shy cat comfortable enough to come out to play! I highly recommend her.

Schedule
Based in Stanton Heights, I work ~9-5 on weekdays in Oakland, so I'm available for weekday drop-ins around that, or anytime on weekends. Monday evenings are tricky; If you aren't sure if I'm available, don't be afraid to ask! I'll do my best to work something out for you and your kitties.
- CatsRebekah can host up to 1 drop-in per day
- Any general information about your cats' personalities is welcome! This allows me to plan whether I should expect to be lounging with a cuddle buddy or running around with a feather toy. If your cat likes to hide, it's good to let me know so I can check up on them and make sure they're okay.
