I've had cats for my whole life, and I have many years of cat-sitting experience as well. Senior kitties also hold a special place in my heart. My late kitty Jezebel (the white cat in my pictures) was my best friend for almost 19 years, and with her I also learned the patience and compassion required with elder cat care. These days my companions include Dottie, a one-eyed, toothless, tongue-out rescue from Conquer the Colony (yes, she’s their logo!) and Penelope, an older furball who likes to take long naps in weird places. I’ve won over the shyest cats, sat with the neediest cats, and tired out the most energetic cats. I can’t wait to meet yours!

Respecting boundaries is the name of the game when it comes to cats, especially with new people. I can be as involved as your cat prefers, or I can keep my distance. You can enjoy your time away knowing that your cats' food and water bowls are filled, the litter box is clean, and the house is free of hairballs.

I had a wonderful experience with Rebekah and would happily book with her again. She was reliable, communicative, and took great care of my cat during my week-long trip. What I especially appreciated was her willingness to help when my automatic feeder experienced an unexpected issue at the beginning of the trip. She kindly checked the device and made sure my cat still received her daily food, which gave me tremendous peace of mind while I was away. Beyond the basics of feeding and litter care, she also spent time keeping my cat company during her visits. It was clear that she genuinely cared about my cat’s well-being. Schedule
Based in Stanton Heights, I work 8-4 on weekdays in Oakland, so I'm available for drop-ins on weekday evenings or anytime on weekends. If you aren't sure if I'm available, don't be afraid to ask! I'll do my best to work something out for you and your kitties.
