We both work full-time in the office from 9am to 5pm during the week, so we’re generally available from 5:30pm onwards on weekdays and throughout the weekend. We’re also happy to arrange early morning walks if needed and will always do our best to accommodate your pet’s routine. We lead an active lifestyle and regularly go for walks and exercise along the canal near our home, so having a dog join us would make these outings even more enjoyable. Whether it’s an evening walk, weekend adventure, or providing companionship and care, we’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of exercise and affection while they’re with us.

We provide a safe, calm and pet-friendly environment and always aim to make pets feel as comfortable as possible while in our care. We currently have no pets living in our home, which allows us to give visiting pets our full attention and helps some animals settle more easily. Our home is free from hazards, and we take care to ensure pets are always safe and supervised. Outside, we have a small gated front garden as well as an open grass area directly in front of our house, providing convenient space for toilet breaks and fresh air. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, we will always follow their usual routines, including feeding schedules, exercise requirements, medication (if required), and any specific instructions. We understand that every pet is different, so we’ll take the time to get to know their personality and needs to ensure they feel happy, secure and well cared for. We are also happy to meet one on one before hand

Hi, we’re Rebecca and Harry, a pet-loving couple based in Apperley Bridge. Animals have always been a big part of our lives. Harry has grown up with both dogs and cats and has experience caring for family pets of all ages, while Rebecca has been around cats since childhood and understands the importance of providing loving, attentive care. We also regularly look after a friend’s energetic Springer Spaniel, so we’re comfortable with active dogs who enjoy plenty of exercise, playtime and attention. As keen outdoor enthusiasts, we love spending time walking and exploring, and we’re lucky to live right next to the canal, which provides fantastic routes for safe and enjoyable walks. We understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and we’ll always take the time to make them feel comfortable, secure and loved while they’re in our care. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, play sessions, cuddles on the sofa, or simply a calm and reassuring presence, we’ll make sure they receive the same care and attention we’d give our own pets.

Rebecca was more than happy to pop in and check on our mini dachshund whenever we were out of the house at work. She has a very caring nature and also loves to keep the pups entertained.
I’ve used Rebecca’s pop-in service several times when I’ve been working long days or late nights, and she’s been amazing. Knowing that my dog is being checked on, given attention, and cared for while I’m at work gives me complete peace of mind. She’s reliable, friendly, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. My dog absolutely loves seeing her and is always happy and settled when I get home. The updates and photos are always appreciated too! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring person to look after their dogs while they’re away from home.
Cooper my 1.5 year old cockapoo stayed with Rebecca for just over a week and he had an absolute blast. Usually he can get really anxious when we’re away but he settled right in with Rebecca it was like a home from home. She followed his routine we’d outlined so it was easy for him to get settled. He’s a really high energy dog so she made sure to take him on lots of walks to burn some of his energy out and followed by lots of cuddles. I trust Rebecca 100% with the care of cooper and I know she’ll look after anyone else’s furbaby like it’s her own.
Rebecca has been absolutely amazing looking after both dogs. From the moment they are in her care, it's clear how much love, attention, and affection she gives them. They come home happy, relaxed, and clearly very well looked after every single time. She goes above and beyond to make sure they're comfortable, entertained, and cared for, and it's obvious they adore spending time with her. The dogs are completely spoilt in the best possible way, with plenty of cuddles, attention, and thoughtful care tailored to their needs. Knowing they are with Rebecca gives complete peace of mind. She is reliable, kind, and genuinely passionate about animals. I couldn't ask for a better caregiver for my dogs. Rebecca is simply the best, and I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for exceptional pet care. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
