Hi, I'm Rebecca 😊 I'm a lifelong dog lover and sole dog owner of almost 8 years. Having sole responsibility for Bowie has meant routinely relying on paid services as well as the kindness of family and friends to ensure he lives his best life! I therefore regularly care for and walk friends' dogs in return - from a 10kg Cocker Spaniel puppy to a 30kg Swiss Shepherd. I know how important it is that you feel completely confident you're leaving your dog in the best care while you're away. I'm therefore happy to arrange a meet and greet, provide regular updates, and follow any specific requirements you or your dog may have. Walks can be solo or with Bowie (he's very laid-back and gets along with all dogs). Boarding will be with Bowie, but he loves hosting furry friends and will be a fun playmate for their stay!

Piggy had a wonderful time with Rebecca and her dog Bowie, while I was away at the weekend. He had lots of walks and cuddles - and Rebecca was attentive to all his needs. I came home to a very happy dog and I would highly recommend her services.
Myself and my partner were due to attend a wedding abroad when our original plan for dog care cancelled last minute. I contacted Rebecca and she was able to take our dog for 2 nights without any issues. She walked and gave her medication, and even washed her when she rolled in fox poo! Nothing was ever too much of an issue. Rebecca also sent regular updates, which gave us piece of mind while we were away. Would highly recommend and I will definitely be using her services again.
Rebecca is great with pets and her professionalism is unmatched! As I work shifts, Rebecca will often walk my almost 2-year-old cocker-spaniel Nora throughout the day when I’m not there. Rebecca will always send me updates and pictures of Nora on her adventures (Nora has a great time!) Rebecca is reliable, trustworthy and Nora loves her! She treats Nora as if she is her own and I can’t recommend her high enough!
Rebecca has looked after our dog Monty many times now, and we truly couldn’t ask for a better person to care for him. From the very first walk, it was clear that she not only loves dogs but really understands them. Monty absolutely adores her – his tail starts wagging the moment he hears her name! Rebecca is kind, reliable, and always goes the extra mile to make sure Monty is happy and comfortable. She sends thoughtful updates and lovely photos that always brighten our day. It’s such a comfort knowing that he’s in such capable and caring hands when we’re not around. We’re so grateful to have found Rebecca. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone genuinely special to care for their dog.
Rebecca, my daughter, is a real pet lover and cares deeply about her own Boston Terrier, Bowie. She is very caring and kind and always ensures he is happy, safe and well cared for. Being a Boston he has had a few health issues, but Rebecca has always given him the care and support he has needed. She absolutely loves dog walking and eagerly helps out her friends and neighbours in this regard when called upon. Your own dog would be in very safe and caring hands with Rebecca.

Schedule
As a part-time teacher, I have flexibility on my days off and during the school holidays - and I'd love nothing more than to spend that time boarding and walking dogs! My availability is set to Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and school holidays as standard. However, I can also do evening walks and drop-ins Monday-Thursday too, so feel free to enquire even if my calendar says I'm not available for something you need.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a spacious two-bed ground floor flat with a large fenced garden. Boarders will have access to the whole flat, including sofas and beds. Boarders will have access to the garden whenever they wish - with toilet breaks at least every two hours. Whether boarding or walking, I'm a keen walker with access to multiple large parks walking distance from my front door. Bowie usually gets a minimum of 2 hours off-lead walks per day - boarders could join for these or have a separate schedule depending on their needs. If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to ask 😊
Pets
A typical day
I carefully plan 2-3 dog walks per day, each at different parks. If the weather is hot, these will be timed at the coolest parts of the day and will include a play in the river! Between walks there will be playtime with Bowie, sofa cuddles, and time in the garden.

- Please let me know about any specific behaviours or medical needs your dog has. Sadly I cannot take reactive dogs as I have limited experience in this area. However I have a lot of experience with medical issues, so I'm happy to look after dogs taking medication, with disabilities, including visual impairments etc.
