I’ve been a huge animal lover all my life; owning dogs, cats, reptiles & guinea pigs over the years. I’m experienced from large breed dogs (my own girl was a GSDxLab), to small breed dogs (regularly boarded a little pug called Marcy).

I always struggled to walk my Shih Tzu (Gordon) because of work. Luckily Becca reached out to me and the rest is history, she’s been walking him for a year on Tuesday. She’s amazing with him and I cannot recommend her enough!
Rebecca looked after my pet for a long time. She Treated him with respect and the love that animals deserve. I couldn’t fault anything she did with him. He adores her as much as he does me!

Schedule
Currently working a 4 day shift pattern, which can change from week to week, but I’ll update my availability to reflect this. I live close to lots of green space so there’s lots of options for long & short walks, and I also drive so I’m more than happy to take them on a big day out if that’s preferred.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large, fenced off garden with a padlocked gate. The house also has multiple security cameras too, covering all entry points. I don’t have crates, but I have plenty of space for them if provided. Your fur baby would have full access in the house, I don’t mind them exploring or using furniture, I would just ask you disclose behaviours like scratching +\ shredding so I can prepare for those.
A typical day
First time walks - I’ll keep the dog on the lead at all times, for my own peace of mind and yours. If I become a regular walker and I feel comfortable with your dogs recall, I’m happy to let them off lead, but only if you are too. At home, my garden is big enough & secure for them to roam freely and play games for mental stimulation too

- Please let me know about any important behaviour traits or specific needs your dog has; reactive, scared of roads, scared of men, are they prone to eating everything and anything off the side of the road, medical conditions, physical limitations ect I’m more than happy to accommodate these, it’s just so I can plan ahead to make sure they are as happy and comfortable as possible
