I currently work part‑time with the flexibility to work from home, which means I have plenty of time to give your dog lots of attention and care. We have a large, secure garden that your dog can enjoy whenever they like, and there’s a beautiful nature park right across the road where I walk my own dog daily. Your dog would be walked twice a day when staying with us, and I am happy to discuss exactly what your dog needs. As a family, we often visit Saltwell Park for longer walks, and we’d be delighted to bring your dog along too. I’m available for boarding every day of the week and am more than happy to meet in person beforehand so you can feel confident and comfortable. My husband will be helping with the caregiving, meaning your pet will get plenty of attention from us.

My garden is fully fenced and very secure, and there’s an additional front fence to keep dogs safe at all times. I’m happy to crate your dog in the evenings if that’s part of their routine, but they’re just as welcome to have free roam of the house if you prefer. My cockapoo Douglas loves playing with other dogs and makes great company for visiting pups. Our home is also monitored by CCTV cameras all day. I will send regular updates through the day with photos attached.

Information Rebecca T. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know in advance how much exercise your dog typically needs. If they require less than what we usually offer— due to age, or any other reason—we’re more than happy to adjust their routine to suit their needs. I’d also appreciate it if you could tell me what time of day your dog is fed and how many treats they’re allowed to have each day. Lastly, I kindly ask that all dogs staying with us are up to date with their flea treatment to help prevent any outbreaks in the home.

A typical day

Your dog starts the day with a quick trip into the garden, followed by a refreshing morning walk around the nature park. On some days, we hop in the car and head to Saltwell Park for a couple of hours of exploring, sniffing, and stretching our legs. After the morning outing, your dog will have regular toilet breaks, plenty of playtime, and lots of attention throughout the day. A second walk happens later on — either at the nature park near our home or back at Saltwell Park. Occasionally, we like to visit other walking spots for a bit of variety and enrichment. Feeding is always done according to your dog’s usual schedule, so their routine stays consistent and comfortable.

Caring, active dog lover!

Pet care experience

I’ve grown up with dogs and have spent most of my life sharing a home with at least one. I was raised around larger breeds, and now I have my lovely cockapoo, Douglas. He’s incredibly friendly, playful, and great with other dogs. I also have plenty of experience dog‑sitting, so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities and needs. My husband Jamie will also be helping with the care-giving, he has also grown up around dogs and has experience dog sitting. We’re an extremely active family, and your dog will get plenty of exercise and stimulation while staying with us. They’ll also receive lots of cuddles, attention, and company throughout the day. You will receive lots of photo and text updates to make you feel comfortable. We board dogs from one family at a time. We are very happy to take two dogs from the same family.

Rebecca was fantastic and bruno really enjoyed his stay with her family and making friends with her dog Douglas. Rebecca kept myself and my partner updated during bruno's stay with plenty of pictures and messages to re assure us he was safe and loving his life. Bruno will definitely be returning ☺️

Incredible. Couldn’t ask for more for our pup. Full days respite so I could go to work. Gave us updates and the drop and pick felt calm and easy. Lovely family and home.

Just a quick note to say how satisfied we were with the care given to our Labrador Lola while we were on holiday. Rebecca obviously has a love for and a natural ability to care for animals. Rebecca followed our instructions and our dog returned to us happy and content.
