Welcome to the pup retreat!
Hello! My name is Walter and I, along with my human mom will be taking care of you at our lil pup paradise in Lower Algiers. My home is the perfect retreat while away from your family. If you stay here with me, I will be happy to share my yard and all my favorite sleeping spots with you! My house is quiet, with the occasional howls from my human that she calls “singing”. She loves listening to music, gardening, playing games, making art and taking walks around the neighborhood. 🤎, Walter (the dog)

Highly recommend Rebecca!! She is always patient with my puppy and doesn’t mind me checking on him. 😂 Her backyard is an oasis my puppy gets so excited everytime we pull up!! And I know he’s safe and loved while I’m away!

Schedule
I am currently working part-time. On days I am open for boarding, I will never be gone more than a couple hours at a time. All dogs will be separated in their own cozy rooms if we leave the home. No dogs will ever be left alone or unattended outdoors.

Safety, trust & environment
My home is secure and fully fenced. I have a screened in back porch, too. You’ll find me in the back yard often; I love to garden. Inside we have the ability to close off rooms and general areas, in case your pup wants some personal space. I allow dogs in most rooms of the house and they have the ability to sleep where they feel most comfortable. I want this to be a peaceful, zen like experience for your pet. I will not board more than 2 dogs at any one time to make sure I am giving your pup enough quality time in a quiet environment.

A typical day
I wake up early and start the day in the garden/yard. Depending on the dog and their preferred experience, we may go for a walk around the neighborhood or throw the ball in our large backyard.. but regardless of their abilities, they’ll always get plenty of cuddles and attention throughout the day. My goal is to make your dog feel like part of the family. A typical day will include a video and/or photo session along with daily updates to keep you included in their experience. We are a creative household and love to send our pets back home with a special surprise.
