Home away from home
I’ve had dogs my entire life and have hands on experience caring for them at every stage, from puppies through to senior dogs with age related and medical needs. I currently have a 9 year old Beagle, Lola, who is very sociable and used to sharing her home with other dogs. Until recently we also had her older brother, so I’m experienced in managing multiple dogs with very different temperaments, including those who are highly social and those who prefer their own space. I’m confident handling a range of behaviours and needs, whether that’s energetic dogs who need plenty of stimulation or more sensitive dogs who require a calmer, more structured environment. I always follow the owner’s routine, walking preferences and any specific care instructions to ensure consistency and minimise stress. I understand how important it is to leave your dog somewhere safe and trusted, and I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own.

I chose Rebecca as her resident dog was a beagle and although Peggy is a good girl.. Beagles have quirks. Peggy had an amazing day with Rebecca and Lola. She made herself right at home. It was the first time she has ever been looked after by someone other than myself or my mum so I was relieved to know she was safe and happy.
Rebecca was fantastic. Kept me up to date with photos and videos. Picked Nala up and she is very happy and very tired.

Schedule
I work from home full time, so pet care is built into my daily routine. Dogs in my care are never left alone and have constant supervision, company and attention throughout the day. My day already revolves around my own dog, Lola, including structured walks, feeding and downtime, so any dogs staying with me are naturally integrated into a calm and consistent routine. Walks are typically at the large park nearby, with flexibility depending on your dog’s needs and preferences. I maintain a balanced environment with a mix of exercise, enrichment and rest, and I always follow each dog’s usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel settled and secure.

Dogs in my care are treated as part of the home, with a calm, safe and well managed environment. I only board one dog at a time alongside my own dog, Lola, and only accept dogs who are comfortable around other dogs. This ensures a low stress, well balanced setting with plenty of individual attention. Before any stay, I take the time to understand your dog’s routine, temperament, walking preferences and any medical or behavioural needs, so I can keep their experience as consistent and settled as possible. Dogs have full run of the house and are never confined to a single area. The property includes a secure fenced courtyard for toilet breaks and a separate enclosed garden for additional outdoor time. All access points are carefully managed to maintain a safe environment at all times. I am experienced in handling different temperaments and will actively manage interactions to ensure both dogs are comfortable. Walks are tailored to your dog’s needs, whether on lead or off lead with your consent. I am also comfortable administering medication where required and will follow all care instructions closely. Regular updates, including photos and messages, are provided so you have full peace of mind while your dog is with me. There are no children in the household, allowing for a calm and predictable environment throughout your dog’s stay
