I work on UMD's campus, but I have a flexible schedule and I am happy to adjust my routine to fit the needs of your pet! My spouse works just 5 minutes from our house and can also come home to provide mid-day potty breaks.

Safety, trust & environment
We prefer to sit dogs in our home, which is only about 3 blocks from Riverside Park. We have a fenced in back patio with a baby pool for the dogs to play in the shade and cool off in warm weather and we regularly drive our dog and his friends to bigger spaces through sniff-spot if they need fenced-in space to run!

Information Rebecca R. would like to know about your pet
Ahead of time, please let me know of...BEHAVIORAL QUIRKS & TRIGGERS: Human, animal, or leash reactivity is never a deal-breaker. However, knowing about any triggers in advance helps us set up a safe, low-stress environment in our home for your pet! ROUTINE & RULES: Please share known commands, feeding and bathroom schedules, and house rules you follow so we can provide your pet with consistent structure to help them feel at home. SPECIAL NEEDS: If your pet has allergies, medication needs, or aversions, let us know in advance. FAVORITES: We want to make sure your pet has an amazing time!!! Let us know if there's anything special we can do to make them feel more at home!
A typical day
We tailor every day to your dog’s specific needs! Days usually include walks around Riverside Park, fun in our fenced patio (complete with a baby pool for warm weather), and private Sniffspot runs for high-energy or reactive pups who need secure space. With mid-day check-ins from my wife, your dog will get consistent attention, exercise, and belly rubs all day long.

Pet care experience
I’m an experienced pet sitter with a deep love for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. My wife and I sit as a team, giving your pet attentive, round-the-clock care! She works just 5 minutes from our home and can easily head home during the day for potty breaks and check-ins, while my flexible schedule on a college campus covers the rest. We've volunteered and fostered through BARCS, which has given us hands-on experience with reactive or nervous dogs with special needs. We also have our own rescue dog, Taz, who is very dog-social and loves helping us foster or sit other pups. Taz is a bit skeptical of new humans, so we completely understand the patience, quiet confidence, and space required for dogs with behavioral quirks or human/leash reactivity. Whether your dog needs oral medication, multi-dog management, or just a calm, structured routine, we treat every pet with the exact same love, safety, and individual care as our own!
Reviews
Rebecca is too good to be true, if you have to board your dog. Her home and personality makes you and your dog feel welcomed. She kept in daily contact, with reports and pictures. Unfortunately, all of the pictures showed my dog enjoying himself too much. I was a little jealous. We will absolutely be using her again!
This was my first time using the app and first time leaving my newly adopted dog for a few days. Rebecca was a rockstar! She took care of my baby just as if he was her own and send me picture updates of their adventures. She was very professional and loving towards my boy, Tugboat. Will definitely be coming back next time I go out of town! Thanks again Rebecca!!
Becca did an excellent job while we were on vacation with our dog and cat. She also stayed at our house while we were gone and that went really well too. I highly recommend Becca. She is a really nice person and highly competent. I will certainly use her again.

We love how responsive and informative Rebecca is when she walks our pup!
