Safety, trust & environment

Pets are always happiest when put in an environment they know and are comfortable with. I’m happy to pet sit in your home to suit your pet’s needs whether it be letting them out to go to the toilet, grooming them, practising ticks, playing or cuddling.

Information Rebecca R. would like to know about your pet

I’d like to know what sort of personality your dog has. Are sociable on/off lead, wary of certain breeds? I also need to know if they have any dietary requirements and/or any other health concerns.

A typical day

I will take your dog on sensory rich and exciting walks around the local parks to me. Sutton Park is a favourite of mine, where your dog can burn lots of energy. If I am dog-sitting at your home, I’d play a game of ‘find it’ which I used to do with my dogs. This involves putting treats in toilet roll cardboard and hiding them around the house, this is a great game to keep dogs engaged and improve their senses!

Pet care experience

Growing up I’ve always looked after pets. I grew up with two cat sisters who introduced me to feeding, grooming, playing and cuddling with pets. I then had two Guinea pigs, then a greyhound, then a Labrador (from a puppy) who moved away with my dad. Safe to say I’m missing him a lot (the dog of course) and would love to spend time with dogs and cats again. They bring so much joy and comfort to our lives and I like to think I can reciprocate that. I have experience training a puppy and walking strong dogs on leads - and playing fetch endlessly!

I would highly recommend Rebecca. We have a 15 week old puppy and she was absolutely amazing at meeting his needs. Rebecca is professional and friendly. I will definitely be booking Rebecca again because she is great ?

Rebecca is a great dog walker for my Labrador, Bella. She always arrives punctually for Bella’s morning walk, with a smile on her face too! You can tell that she loves being around dogs and gives Bella all the cuddles she needs. She also takes Bella on lots of different walking routes which is great to mix it up for her with lots of different scents to sniff! Thanks Rebecca.
