Safety is always my top priority, which is why I’m also trained in Pet Tech CPR and First Aid. What I Offer: Pet Sitting & Dog Walking: Personalized attention to your dog’s needs, whether it’s a short stroll or a more energetic hike. Pet Visits & Overnight Stays: I offer flexible options for pet sitting, from short visits to overnight stays, based on what works best for you and your pet. Doggy Hiking Adventures: If your dog loves outdoor adventures, I offer scenic and safe hiking trips to explore new trails! Complimentary Meet & Greet: Let’s meet before booking to ensure we’re a great match and that your pets are comfortable with me. This is not required, but highly encouraged. A Bit About Me: I’m a third-generation Deaf individual, fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), and can communicate effectively with anyone. While I have some residual hearing, it doesn’t interfere with my ability to care for pets. I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Gallaudet University, and I’ve volunteered with People. Animals. Love. (PAL), where I provided pet therapy visits with my Yorkshire Terrier, Rocco. I’m passionate about ensuring pets of all ages and needs receive the care, love, and attention they deserve. What Sets Me Apart: Specialized Care: I’ve worked with puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with special needs. I do not charge an additional fee for administering medications. Experienced Hiker: If your dog enjoys long walks or hikes, I’m equipped and happy to take them on some scenic adventures. ASL Communication: My fluency in American Sign Language enables me to communicate effectively with Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and ASL users, as well as their pets if they use ASL/Hand Signals. I gladly accommodate pets with special care needs, including those requiring attention due to age, chronic illnesses, post-surgical recovery, or other medical conditions. Your pets will receive the same love and care as my own, and I deeply understand the importance of meeting their specific needs. With me, you can rest assured that your pets are in compassionate, skilled hands. Experience with Medication Administration: I’m very comfortable administering various types of medication, thanks to my extensive experience. This includes giving injections, using inhalers, administering pills (by mouth, in food, or in pill pockets), applying creams to ears or skin, and administering eye or ear drops, among others. Your pet’s health and comfort are always my priority.

The best sitter ever! Rebecca was able to help us out with a foster puppy when we had to travel for a week. She went above and beyond for Amity and I know Amity had a great time, which made our travel less stressful. She's watched 4 different dogs for us over the years and has been amazing with each one.

Rebecca took great care of our two dogs and our home for three weeks while we were away. She also met with our dogs and took them for walks a few times before her stay in our home to make sure they were comfortable with her. Rebecca kept in touch with us and sent us a lot of updates while we were traveling. She was also flexible when plans slightly changed and communicated with a local family member to coordinate when needed. We highly recommend Rebecca. We feel fortunately we found someone we can trust to care for our dogs and home.
Rebecca is always amazing and Stormi loves hanging out with her. We never have to worry when she's sitting, which makes traveling much easier.
