I bring something a little different to pet sitting: professional shelter experience combined with a lifetime of loving animals. Working with animals professionally has taught me how to read body language, recognize when something is “off,” safely handle a wide range of personalities, and stay calm when the unexpected happens. I’m comfortable caring for pets who need a little extra patience or specialized attention, including seniors, animals with disabilities or allergies, and pets requiring oral, topical, or injectable medications. But experience isn’t the only thing I bring. I genuinely love spending time with animals. I want your pets to have fun, feel secure, and get plenty of attention while you’re away. I’m observant, dependable, communicative, and happy to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. And I’ll keep you connected with photos and videos throughout your pet’s stay, because I know you'll want to see those adorable faces while you’re away! I want you to not have to worry and enjoy your time away from home as much as possible! Most importantly, I care for your pets the way I’d want someone to care for mine.If I am staying at your home while watching the animals I may have some daytime plans, errands or other clients to visit for a small amount of time please discuss your pets needs with me while booking to ensure there are no gaps in their care due to existing schedule conflicts. Otherwise I will just be at your home with your animals so they get my dedicated attention and I am able to calm any nerves and offer lots of cuddles, play time, enrichment, and exercise. What to expect when I meet you and your animals: When I meet with you,especially about doggos, I will want to understand what verbiage you use for things like "sit" and "lay" so I can use the same terms. It Is also important to me to know what types of training you are working on with your animals, if any, so I can work on the same things with them and continue their training with consistency. I will also work with you to get an understanding of their feeding process and routines so they get their meals exactly correct and at the exact right time.I will do the same with medication details, leashing/haltering and walking paths if any, bathroom schedules and night time schedules.It is very important to me that I am aware of your cats or dog's triggers, if any, so I can better tailor my care to them and proactively keep their environment as comfortable as possible. There is nothing I cannot handle as long as I am educated about the animals needs.
