Pet care experience
I have been a professional pet-sitter for over 20 years. I believe pets are not just companions, but family members. I grew up with a cat and a dog, and a dream about one day having my own horse. I am originally from Wisconsin, where the seed for working with animals began in middle school while volunteering at the local Humane Society. I have volunteered for animal organizations on and off ever since (that's one of my foster pups in my profile photo!). I am also a writer/editor, outdoor lover, yoga practitioner, and blues/swing dancer. I spend the majority of the day at home with your pet(s), and love to go on walks and play frisbee/ball in the yard. I'm also a sucker for cuddling on the couch. I look forward to spoiling your loved ones while you are away!

Rebecca did a great job with my senior dog and two cats during our weekend away. We came gone to calm, settled pets that obviously responded very favorably to Rebecca. She was very responsive and great at communicating with us during her stay,
The weekend of July 7-9 was the first time I had used rover.com. My youngest daughter was being married in a town about 150 miles away. My pet/house sitter was Rebecca. I was absolutely impressed by her. We had our meet-and-greet shortly after I visited the site, and she had such a calm demeanor and knowledge of pets that I knew she would be the perfect fit for me and my little dogs, Zoe Suess & Finn Henson. She sent me photos every day, which pleased me to no end! While coming home on Sunday, July 9, I had car trouble. I was alone and in a town where virtually every establishment was closed. After several attempts, I was able to find a towing company and get my car to a dealership close to the location of the wedding. This caused a five-hour delay in my return. I contacted Rebecca and told her of the situation, and she went back to my home and took care of my dogs, leaving shortly before my arrival. It is my feeling that she went over and above her responsibilities in insuring that my little kids were taken care of. I will definitely call rover.com and request Rebecca in the future. She is a gem!
Rebecca was great!! Our dog and cat were so happy and relaxed when we returned home. The house was tidy. We will definitely ask Rebecca to sit for our furry family next time we are out of town.
