A typical day

I love keeping dogs active and engaged! Weather permitting, I enjoy taking pups on nature trails, hikes, and scenic walks for extra enrichment and exercise. I’m also happy to explore new neighborhood routes to keep walks fun and mentally stimulating. For social dogs, I’m more than willing to take them to the dog park with your permission so they can play, socialize, and burn off some energy.

Pet care experience

🖖Hello! My name is Rebecca, and animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have owned and cared for dogs, cats, and exotic pets for over 27 years, and in 2021 I graduated from the University of Missouri with my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Since moving back to the Metro East area, I’m excited to expand my pet sitting services while offering families the peace of mind that their pets are in experienced, compassionate hands. What sets me apart from many sitters is my medical background and comfort level with pets who may need a little extra care. I have experience with a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, horses, cattle, and exotics. I’m comfortable caring for young pets, senior pets, pets with chronic conditions, and animals who require more detailed instructions or specialized routines. My services include pet sitting, house sitting, dog walking and exercise, doggy day care, boarding, geriatric pet care, administering oral and injectable medications, basic physical therapy support, and providing plenty of love, patience, and attention. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and slow to warm up, elderly and delicate, or medically complex, my goal is always to keep them safe, comfortable, and as stress-free as possible. My partner, Edgar, and I currently share our home with five cats, and we have also owned dogs in the past. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pets in someone else’s care, and I pride myself on being flexible, reliable, and attentive to each pet’s unique needs. Your pet’s routine, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priorities.

Rebecca did an awesome job with our 4 dogs and 2 cats. She and Edgar took care of all their needs, sent daily pics, and updated us on each one!
