I am off work every day by 3 pm and available every day after that time (after 4 on Tuesdays)! I am available on the weekends as well and am flexible about times! I ask for at least a week’s notice for weekend services.

I live in a pet friendly apartment complex. This complex not only has a short walking trail, but I am a mile away from the Still River walking point. I am comfortable with any pet friendly conditions within a client’s home, I just ask that clear expectations regarding their pet are made in advance (i.e. walking on/off leash).

A typical day
I love being outside with dogs. There are many stimulating factors outside that are good for dogs, including smells, sounds, and even new textures. Being outside gives a dog more freedom to explore and play. I have a retriever of my own, so I love throwing a ball or frisbee or going on walks for long periods of time.

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of my own dogs since I was 10 years old, including walks, feeding schedules, and medications. Additionally, I completed my Bachelors degree majoring in animal science. Within this degree, I was taught restraint of dogs, behavioral analysis, anatomy of animals, and much more. I was the sole pet sitter for my neighbors for many years in which I cared for 2 dogs for overnights (up to a week). I have also volunteered with Guiding Eyes where I took care of 6-8 week old puppies and exposed them to new environments for a 3-5 day time period.

Rebecca has been a good family friend and very knowledgeable when it comes to animals. We have asked her multiple times to watch our dog and have never had any issues. She’s been a great help with raising our dog and would recommend her to anyone that is need of someone with expertise when animal care.
I have known Rebecca for quite some time now and I have had asked her to dog sit my golden retriever, Izzy, a few times before. The pup absolutely adores her! Rebecca is always kind and attentive with Izzy. Rebecca is definitely our go-to pet sitter.
