I’ve grown up around all kinds of pets my entire life. As a child I helped raise kittens and desert tortoises. At 12 I started helping my sister with dogsitting jobs, and by 14 I was doing them on my own around my hometown. I also volunteered at the humane society for 5 years. Today, I’m new to the DC Area and in grad school! I got my degree from University of Utah and will attend GW. I live in Fairfax and would love to meet new pals! At home I have 3 dogs, 4 cats, and a bunny, but I’m and out of state student, so I’m dying to bond with any animal while I’m here! I become best friends with any animal; your pet will love me and I will love them (and probably grow a bit attached to them). **my rates are negotiable and flexible. I am just excited to meet new animals! So if you need accommodations please let me know and I’m happy to help!**

I can petsit in my own home upon request, but I do have a cat that got dumped on me by an old client (crazy!). When I am in your home I am able to feed your pets, bathe them if necessary, take them on short walks or long hikes (if preferred), and overall just keep them company so they are comfortable and happy. I’ve been trusted in houses to petsit for years, and I will leave your space cleaner than when I found it. I want you to come home with no added stress, so the pet will be tired and the house will be more than clean, you’ll never know I was there!

My cat Tandi was very well taken care of while I was away. She normally doesn’t like strangers but seemed to do well with Rebecca! Updates with photos were provided each day, which I appreciated! Would definitely book again :)

This was the second time we had Rebecca come stay with our cat Otis. We were gone 4 days and Otis showed no signs of stress when we returned. Rebecca kept in touch with updates and pictures, which was great. I would certainly ask Rebecca to watch Otis again.

Schedule
My schedule is changing! I’m a full time student, and I work from home. Most of my classes are online, but on Wednesdays I have class from 6-8 pm. Otherwise, I’m completely available at all times of day

- Let me know if your dog has any specific or special needs I need to know about and if they have any behavior issues. If I’m doing extended care please tell me exactly how many hours a day is necessary. If I’m walking your dog, I prefer to know ahead of time if they are strong and pull a lot. Please also let me know if your dog is reactive in any way, just so I am aware during walks.
