Your Dog's Second Home

Hi, I'm Rebecca and I live in Weston-super-Mare with my partner, Ryan. We are both lifelong animal lovers and have shared our lives with dogs since childhood. Over the years, I have cared for dogs with a wide range of personalities, temperaments and individual needs, giving me the experience and confidence to provide personalised care for every dog that stays with us. I have a particular soft spot for Pugs. My own Pug, Pug, passed away a few years ago, and he is one of the reasons I am so passionate about providing the kind of care I would want for my own pet. We both work from home, with dedicated home offices, so your dog will enjoy plenty of company, supervision and interaction throughout most of the day. As with most working households, there may occasionally be times when we need to pop out, meaning your dog could be left for up to a couple of hours, but this is kept to a minimum and we will always discuss this with you before confirming a booking. Every dog is different, so we take the time to understand their individual routine, preferences and personality. Whether they enjoy long walks, playing fetch, joining us for a trip to a dog-friendly café, or relaxing on the sofa for cuddles, we will make sure they feel happy, comfortable and completely at home. We understand that leaving your dog with someone else takes a great deal of trust, whether it's for one night or a longer stay. That's why we provide regular updates, photos and messages throughout their visit, so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, settled and enjoying themselves. Every dog in our care is treated with the same kindness, patience and affection we would give our own. Before each stay, we take the time to learn about your dog's personality, feeding schedule, exercise requirements, sleeping arrangements and any medical or special care they may need. We are also happy to follow any specific instructions, including medication, dietary requirements and established routines, to help your dog settle in as comfortably as possible. To provide the highest level of care and attention, we intentionally keep our boarding numbers low, welcoming a maximum of just two dogs at any one time. This allows us to give each dog plenty of one to one attention in a calm and relaxed environment. We live in a comfortable, secure home just a few minutes' walk from the beach, as well as beautiful woodland walks, parks and gardens, giving your dog plenty of opportunities for exercise, exploration and fun. Before every first booking, we arrange a meet and greet. This gives us the opportunity to get to know each other, discuss your dog's individual needs, answer any questions you may have and help your dog become familiar with us before their stay. We look forward to welcoming your dog into our home and caring for them as if they were our own. If you have any questions, please feel free to send us a message.

Purdy had a great time with Rebecca and family. They sent us lots of photos and even videos both at home and out walking. It looked as if she made herself at home. 😀 They love and understand dogs. We will not hesitate to ask them again.

Rebecca took such good care of Chip over the weekend. We received plenty of photos and videos of him, and he had lots of nice walks and experiences to keep him entertained. We will definitely be rebooking Rebecca!

Doggy Day Care • Jul 21, 2026

Ryan and Rebecca looked after my dog on fairly short notice, found the time to do a meeting and greet before hand and were both extremely friendly and easy to deal with. Arguably more importantly, they were excellent with the dog, showed a real interest and care and sent me multiple photos of her throughout the day. Throughly recommend and would absolutely use again.

Absolutely lovely couple who took amazing care of Max. The weather was really hot when Max was with them and they found really novel ways and games to keep him mentally stimulated when it was too hot to walk. Max lived his time with them and will be using again in the future

Schedule

Pet care is part of our everyday life. As we both work from home, we are able to provide your dog with plenty of companionship and attention throughout the day. As with most working households, there may occasionally be times when we need to pop out, meaning your dog could be left for up to a couple of hours, but this is kept to a minimum and we will always discuss this with you before confirming a booking as we want to make sure our home is the right fit for every dog. Typically they have a walk in the morning, toilet break in the afternoon and another walk in the afternoon/evening followed by a toilet break before bed. This is filled out with playtime, cuddles (if wanted) and trips out. However, we can adapt this depending on your dogs needs and energy levels. We tailor each dog's day to suit their individual needs and preferences, whether that's an energetic walk, a trip to a dog friendly café, or relaxing with us at home. Because we only board a maximum of two dogs at a time, we are able to give each one the time, care and individual attention they need.

This helps us anticipate their needs, avoid triggering situations where possible, and provide the right level of support and care.
