I had a wonderful start in pet care at an SPCA abroad, where I bonded with dogs from diverse, often traumatic backgrounds, helping them build confidence through daily walks. Since then I’ve worked with dogs of all kinds as both a sitter and a walker. I’ve administered different kinds of medication, accommodated specific care needs, and always respected the houses/apt’s I enter.

My care is flexible and molds to the specific needs of each individual client. Because I work with one family at a time, I really get to hone implementing care tasks, following specific schedules, and, for a time, taking up a new living space and treating it like I would my own.

Rebecca is amazing. She stayed in my apartment for almost two weeks giving the best care to our ~2 year old rescue Chihuahua mix, Cheese, who has some quirks like leash reactivity and can be stubborn. Rebecca is patient, kind and always very respectful of our home. This was our first time leaving Cheese for over a week since we adopted her, but I felt so at ease doing so with her in Rebecca’s care. Rebecca truly took care of Cheese like she was her own, taking her on long walks and continuing her leash training, which we so appreciated. I highly recommend Rebecca — Cheese is excited to hang out with her again!
Rachel was great!! Super responsive and went above and beyond to make sure Bear got the exercise he needed. Would highly recommend!!
Rebecca is so sweet, professional and was great with my rescue pup. She asked lots of thoughtful questions during our meet and greet and was really attentive to my pup’s needs. I would absolutely love to have her back to hang out with my dog again and would recommend her to anyone!

Rebecca was great. She stayed with my dogs in my house for a week. She came over before we left to see in person my dogs med routine as she is 17 and has a few. My other dog, who is afraid of everyone took to her very quickly. She also sent me pictures and updates regularly. I would hire her again to watch them in a heartbeat.

Schedule
I’ve often been able to work with pets who need consistent care on weekends, otherwise, during the week I have classes & other time commitments that require me to break for multiple hours at a time. Let’s discuss the specifics of your pets scheduling needs and see if we can align!
